Once I got back from 3 days on the sail boat, I drove once again to Oceanside, California to spend a few more days with the delightful Laurie Reyon. We had such a lovely time!

I spent several days visiting the ocean each day, collecting rocks and shells, meditating at the Self Realization Fellowship in Encinitas, California overlooking the water, walking barefoot on the sand, and writing.

One morning I got breakfast to go at a little coffee shop. I ended up in a conversation with the girl behind the counter. Somewhere in the middle we discussed that I was on a book tour. She asked the name of my books. When I mentioned Peering Through the Veil, she suddenly had a huge smile and said her mom had been telling her that she needed to read that book.

As soon as I got the beach, I sat down on a bench to unwrap my breakfast sandwich and suddenly felt I should look up. A whole pod of dolphins was swimming past. Ah … breakfast with dolphins. It was so much fun!

That evening Laurie and I took a stroll on the pier at Oceanside and saw dolphins again. We finished off my visit with a fabulous meal by the water.

Leaving the ocean was tough, but it was time to head inland for more adventures …

I spent the next 3 weeks in my beloved home away from home, Santa Fe, New Mexico. I once owned a shamanic healing center there. I love the land, the people, the architecture, the energy, the art, and so much more.

Have a deLightful day,
