The next day we were scheduled to have another book signing event with Tea in the Garden in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The weather was iffy and with Roberta’s injuries, we decided to cancel. We spent a lovely evening with one of my friends and headed out the next day for Sedona and Mesa, AZ.
We met Linda Shay and her husband, David Rosenthal, at a delightful restaurant in Sedona for a wonderful meal and great conversation.
Linda and David are the only two people that were part of the collaboration that I had met previously. Everyone else I was meeting for the first time in person during the trip. Linda and David had a booth at a conference held in Santa Fe and we met there years ago.
After our short stop in Sedona, we headed on down the road to Phoenix and Mesa, AZ to meet Cat and Grandma Chandra and to spend the night.
Wow was it hot. We enjoyed a lovely Afghani meal prepared by Cat.
I was surprised at what a small person Grandma Chandra is and was even more surprised at her wanting to climb up into my lap. As she sat rocking in my lap, she had her mom communicate several messages to me. One being that we had been sister dolphins in Lemuria. I found that little revelation not the least bit surprising as I have such a fondness for Lemuria and some of my favorite past experience memories are of actually being a dolphin – not just communing and connecting with them.
Cat had a laser color sound healing device that she had been using with Grandma Chandra with great success. Grandma Chandra has a physical condition that causes her to be unable to speak and was unable to walk until only recently. Cat let Roberta use the laser device on her ankle to help strengthen and heal the wounds from the fall in Mountainair.
Grandma Chandra followed me around everywhere I went and whenever I sat down, she climbed up beside me and had some part of her body touching mine. It might be her feet, her back, or sitting once again in my lap. Her presence was truly wonderful.
The following day Roberta and I enjoyed a dip in the pool before heading off to Oceanside, California and our two back to back events scheduled there.
Have a deLightful day,
