Listen to Your Intuition

Do You Listen to Your Intuition?

Have you ever thought about learning to listen to your intuition and follow Divine guidance in making decisions rather than trying to rely totally on logic all the time?
A friend posted a question about whether you listen when intuition talks. And if you obey.
My response was, “Always.”
He went on to ask, “How do you parse out insights you ‘receive’ versus those you’re making up in your own mind?

My Response to Do You Listen to Your Intuition?

I responded with the following:
“Haha – well, since I teach this stuff, I better walk my talk.
First and foremost, I’ve been meditating at a theta brainwave level every single day without exception for 30 years. Basically, if you do that, the problem is automatically solved … because you never have mind chatter – ever.
The next bit is about getting super freaking intensely connected to your intuitive/feeling body. Tuning in constantly to how things feel – that right there is a whole teaching I’ve been “bringing in” for decades about how to discern what is beneficial and what is not, what feels good, and what feels bad, what is in your best interest (and that of your soul) and what is distraction.
It takes discipline, paying constant attention (so easy when you meditate daily) and staying in tune with how your body feels, your emotions, the energy around you.
In some of my interviews I go into various practices I recommend. In my latest training, hopefully soon to be up on an online training portal, I get deep into how to fine tune and enhance intuition.
The most amazing miracles happen when you have no stray thoughts, yet a thought gently flits through your head, you are present enough to notice, and you take the action you were inspired to take … like call a person, go a certain place, say a certain things. It’s downright miracle making.
The word “obey” is not one I resonate with. It feels more to me like we receive insights and inspirations and we can choose to act on them or not. That’s a much more harmonious feeling than “obey this order.” Reminds me of the pirates of the Caribbean where they have the whole discussion about rules and guidelines.
We are offered “suggestions” rather than “commands” – at least that is how I and my Higher Self, angels, and other guides communicate.
It’s not that hard to learn to listen to your intuition.
But it does take learning to pay attention to the still small voice within and eliminating the mind chatter.
If I can do it, so can you!

It’s something we work with continuously in The Sacred Circle that meets twice each month. Also, when you learn to dowse with a pendulum, you are utilizing one of the fastest methods I’ve found.
