Planting Seeds

Your Future is a Garden: Strategic Seed-Planting for Life Success

Every spring I think about and talk about seeds … planting them, nurturing them, and growing them into something more.

They are such a great metaphor for dreams, goals, and life aspirations. But they are also much more than that.

Every area of your life was once a seed of some sort … an idea that took hold … the work or career you now have, every relationship (however good or not so good), your health, your finances, and everything else.

Thoughts, words, and actions are also seeds. Every single one plants a seed toward something more. Hopefully, they are seeds in the direction you wish to be going in. But often, they are seeds in the opposite direction.

Mindset matters, as I like to say. And as Henry Ford once said, “If you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right!”

If you’ve read my bestselling book on manifestation, Unleash Your Future, you’ve read the story of how radically my mindset shifted after everything on my first vision board came true. I realized then that if those goals were attainable, so were much bigger ones. So I began setting bigger goals.

Along the way, I discovered quite a few things. For example, unless you hold an extremely high vibration and believe (on all levels) in your ability to achieve whatever you desire, you actually have to take actions to achieve goals … and often, those actions will be outside your comfort zone.

Just having an idea and saying “wouldn’t it be nice,” isn’t enough to achieve most things. However, as mentioned above, if you are truly in Divine alignment, vibing incredibly high, and are very clear in your request, some things do manifest almost instantly without any additional action needed.

But most things take work on those “bad” seeds in the subconscious mind … those things that say “I’ll never be able to …” or fear that you are not enough or that bad things always happen or that only good stuff happens to other people. Those are simply “bad” seeds planted in the subconscious mind that you have nurtured through repetition and allowed to grow into a giant weed pile.

Weeds can ruin an otherwise glorious garden … just like “bad” mental programming (beliefs, fears, etc.) can ruin an otherwise fabulous person’s happiness and success.

Some of the smartest, most interesting people I know are leading some of the most unhappy, desperate lives. Why? Because they were programmed in childhood (and by later events) to believe that life is hard, they aren’t enough, they will never have what they desire and are not worthy of it anyway. It takes a lot of reprogramming and effort to overcome those beliefs. However, it is possible and it is definitely worth it.

Just like going to the gym to exercise the muscles, focusing on positive intentions and a positive mindset are things you have to do again and again. It’s never a once and done. It requires effort and persistence.

Meditation makes a difference.

Paying attention to the things you think and say makes a difference.

Finding something you are passionate about and pursuing it makes a difference.

Surrounding yourself with people who encourage you and believe in your potential makes a difference.

Reading and listening to books and training programs that help you have a more positive mindset makes a difference.

Doing individual and group coaching / consulting to transform your limiting beliefs and fears makes a BIG difference.

Regardless of whether you get my help through private consulting or as a member of the Sacred Circle, or you choose to learn from someone else, know that you matter and transformation, achieving your goals, and experiencing a life of joy are not only possible, but your Divine birthright!
