Wise Women Global Gathering.
I am a firm believer that the only way to have peace “without” is to have peace within. It starts with each one of us. Watching the online news broadcasts live last evening (Nov. 13th), I was not in fear, anger, or judgment, I was in compassion and interest at what was unfolding in my world.
Power, greed, control, these are male ego issues. The more you align with Divine Mother, the more you see all of the earth as “yours” – a part of you, an extension of you, an emanation of you – like being a grandmother to all of life. That doesn’t work for everyone of course. But it is my view. If I am at peace and I raise my vibration high enough, particularly if I hold an intention of peace while others do as well, it does affect the world around me.
I’ve been “feeling it” for awhile – that I would be doing another gathering of women for a global cause. It wasn’t until Nov. 9th that I felt hit by the bolt of cosmic lightening and the realization of what it was to be about. I saw a video with Jack Black talking about COP21, global climate change, and Paris and instantly KNEW that was the place to focus.
I had no idea, when I was “inspired” (guided from within) to put together the Wise Women Global Gathering and to focus all the prayers and energy on Paris, that the horrific events of the 13th would be occurring there.
The same thing happened when I was still living in New Mexico and felt I absolutely had to book tickets to come visit my parents in Virginia. As soon as I booked the flight, the mass murder occurred on the Virginia Tech campus. When I came to visit, I went to campus, did prayers, shed quite a few tears, floated flowers on the Duck Pond and did some clearing work to balance out the energies and release the fear and sadness surrounding that event.
We will be sending love, Light, and prayers all over the world to those who are suffering and those stuck in fear, anger, hatred, and separation from their own Divine nature. Paris is a focal point. Suffering and the need for support and compassion is global.
I am very much a “global citizen.” I care about people, animals, and the earth everywhere. I’ve always been that way. The news media is extraordinarily biased. I avoid it whenever possible. I spent most of the day (after the Paris attacks) doing online research about what is really going on behind the scenes, in war zones, the greatest loss of life worldwide, where children are suffering, etc.
This was the most comprehensive I came across: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ongoing_armed_conflicts
And there is also this: http://www.globalissues.org/article/715/today-21000-children-died-around-the-world
The Wise Women Global Gathering is now over.
