Energy Healers Shsman

Energy Healers and Shaman

Most spiritual seekers have had an energy healing session of one form or another. Perhaps they have had some sort of color sound therapy, or seen a shaman or other medicine person for a soul retrieval or other process. They have probably had a Reiki session or even been trained in that modality. Typically those seeking energy healing assistance are looking to heal something physically or mentally/emotionally. Or perhaps they want to break through a pattern in which they feel stuck in one or more areas of life.
I had a spiritual awakening back in 1993. Almost immediately I found books by Stuart Wilde who then became my first spiritual teacher. And I found Karen Schweitzer of the Body Mind Center in Reading, PA, who soon became not only a dear friend, but my go-to energy healer and spiritual adviser for many years. Week after week I went for Reiki sessions, her unique form of past life regression and many other sessions and experiences. I had years of physical and mental / emotional abuse and trauma/drama to heal. Karen helped me find inner peace, taught me numerous practical  techniques for handling stress, and recommended great classes and books. Practically every time I went home from a session with her, it was with a book she was loaning me to read or a stone or object that she had infused with healing energy for me to work with until next time. It was a beautiful time of exploring and involved a massive amounts of energy clearing. I feel so blessed to have found her.

Physical Pain and Entities

Up until the day I met Kaaren Shikiah Kaylor, I had never needed, or even thought of, having an energy session for physical pain. I so rarely have physical pain. But living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the energies there brought up so many things, I often found myself dealing with phantom pain from past lives and had lots of encounters with disharmonious energy, vampires, energetic attachments, etc. Where there is light, there is also darkness. We had just moved to Santa Fe a few weeks prior and I had been invited to have a booth at a Goddess Weekend in Madrid, NM. As I was setting up the booth, I suddenly began having excruciating back pain. I could hardly walk I was so uncomfortable. I was still setting up the booth when this woman, Shikiah, was doing the opening ceremony. When my then husband, Raven, came back to the booth after the ceremony, he said, “I scheduled you an appointment with Shikiah.” Hmmmm I am freaking picky about who I let work in my energy field. I had never laid eyes on her and yet, I was scheduled for a session. If it weren’t for the pain, I probably would have cancelled. I like to make my own appointments, thank you very much. hahaha
I walked down to the teepee where sessions were being held and went inside. It was so lovely and beautifully decorated in there. Shikiah and I instantly connected and have been dear friends ever since. I was sitting on a cushion and as I explained about the pain, she walked around behind me, grabbed whatever it was in my energy field and threw it off. Whatever it was had hold of me with such intensity that when it let go, I literally fell forward with great force and the pain was absolutely and totally gone, never to return. It was a truly strange experience and it let me know, quite dramatically, that entities are real. After that, whenever I had pain, Shikiah was the one I called on for help.

I Am an Energy Healer

I’m an energy healer, the kind naturally born with the gift. I’ve been called the Chalice of Divine Frequencies and many people come into center and balance just being in my presence or listening to my voice. I am an amplifier and clarifier and I am extremely intuitive. For the past twenty+ years I’ve been in Spirituality and “Energy Healing School” through various ways and means. It all began with Reiki … the doorway many walk through to enter the world of energy healing. It quickly expanded into something else entirely when the dolphin energy healers entered the picture and sort of took over my world. I say that laughingly and lovingly.
According to a channel in New Zealand, I work with “a very fine frequency . . . Feminine integrated energy.”
Hopefully by now you know the story of how I learned to meditate and as soon as I began meditating, dolphins started to spontaneously appear in my visions and dreams, bringing with them powerful energy healing frequencies and processes, which I was then able to transmit to others.
Whatever you are called to do as a true life purpose, those talents and gifts you came in to awaken, activate, fine-tune, and enhance, often require that you grow immensely in consciousness and awareness, healing layer upon layer of fear and limitation in order to step fully into that role. That’s what I’ve been up to for two decades … awakening, activating, fine-tuning, expanding, allowing, healing, growing, in a never ending spiral upward. Like everyone, I’ve gotten stuck and required assistance to move forward on more than one occasion. I’ve developed friendships and business partnerships with people who showed up so I could fine-tune and hone my “bull shit” meter (pardon the language), my ability to read energy, my ability to sort between the truly, authentically, genuinely Light and the wolves in sheep’s clothing – those who appear light, use all the right words, appear to be intent on helping others, but are instead running hidden agendas and in some cases are energy manipulators or actual energy vampires. If you are going to work with energy, this is something you must master. Read more about the nature of who I am and what I do here.

How to Tell the Dark from the Light

Sometimes developing the ability to tell the difference takes a bloody long time and the emotional damage created by getting involved with the wrong people can be devastating. Of course all of it is about the learning and there are never truly “wrong” people in your life. Everyone is there for you to learn and grow beyond whatever you are experiencing.
The more your heal your own issues, rise in consciousness and awareness, and have encounters with disharmonious, unkind, manipulative people, the easier it is to spot them next time. If you are on a spiritual path, these are part of the lessons one must learn. If you don’t heal the issues, you will continue to draw those same type of people until you have.

Manipulative Healers

Sadly, there are energy healers out there who do a disservice to others by telling them they have a particular problem, causing them to break down emotionally by pointing out a deep dark shadow issue, but fail to provide solutions. Those types of healers are definitely to be avoided. I find that behavior unkind and manipulative. It is about as irresponsible as someone doing energy healing who hasn’t fine-tuned their ability to see, feel, or hear what is happening in the unseen.
Talk about the blind leading the blind. Just as people you can see range from the Dalai Llama to serial killers, the unseen realms are teaming with everything from angels and Ascended Masters to downright scary entities that you really don’t want to mess with unless you have been trained to do so. Naivety and a few words of protection do not provide a safety net.
I recently read a thread on social media where a guy said he went to a shaman. The shaman told him that a sorcerer had placed a curse on him, but since he didn’t have much money and this was an initial free consultation, he was left with knowledge about this horrible thing going on, but no solution.

I jumped in to the conversation and agreed with someone else who commented about what you latch onto mentally causes a HUGE impact on your life experience. I almost never get readings and am extremely careful about who I let do any form of “healing” with me or do work on my energy field.
If what the shaman said was really there, they should have cleared it out completely, disconnected them from the person, and sealed up and protected their energy field, then taught them things to keep that going.
You have to take part in your own healing. You can’t be “fixed” entirely by another. A lot of it is belief and the release of fear.
Energetic attacks are real. But anyone talking about “bad” things that result in doubt and fear within a client, needs to also be giving them tools and advice about how to remedy the situation. Just planting seeds of doubt and fear is no good for anyone. It is, however, a great way to get repeat customers who need to be continuously “fixed.” Maybe that was not the shaman’s conscious intention, but it definitely could have been. As a side note, most true shaman would never call themselves that. As my dear teacher, Stuart Wilde, once said … If they call themselves a master, they aren’t.
The person went on to say that the healing was incomplete because it was initially a free intro. After discussing finances, the guy left depressed.

That sounds to me like a scam to get customers. It is, sadly, human nature to give power over to those who seem to know more than we do about various things – particularly when dealing with the unseen realms. When I say give power over, I mean believe, without any filters whatsoever, whatever they say.
And belief happens not only with the conscious mind, but the unconscious as well. You may think one thing and believe something else entirely. True healers, those born with the gift and who have spent years honing and fine-tuning it are rare.
When you have cleared, healed, and aligned yourself enough, then the energy and intention of others becomes more apparent. You can then, fairly easily, tell the energy level (meaning clarity and level of consciousness) of whomever you are going to for support.
Until then, you end up in situations like this person did. This is not a bad thing, it is a learning experience. The more difficult encounters you have had with energy and people running hidden agendas, the more you grow and evolve as a person. It’s like training wheels for your personal mastery.

Some Will Steal Your Power

Selo Black Crow, a Lakota Medicine Man, once looked me in the eye and said “Never go to a Medicine Man for healing because he will steal your power.” I was shocked to hear him say those words. But then I went to a female Native American friend and repeated what he said. She gave me this look that kind of said to me “you poor ignorant white girl” and said, “yes, everyone knows that.” Well I didn’t know it.
I am not at all saying that all Medicine Men, shaman, or energy healers will do these things. There are some extraordinary healers out there that can literally facilitate miracles. I’m just saying be careful and don’t assume just because they call themselves shaman or Reiki Master, and show you a laundry list of training certifications, that they are any different than other people. Some are nice. Some aren’t. It really is that simple.

How Can You Tell?

If you spend time with someone and afterwards you feel confusion, worry, exhaustion, or self doubt, that is a neon sign that you have been manipulated energetically and/or mentally. Clear the energy between you and spend less time with them if at all possible. How often do you take the time to meditate, open the energy channels within the body, connect to the earth and your Higher Self? These are actions I take every single day. I encourage you to do the same. As you continue the practice, you will become better at determining  people who are running harmonious empowering energy vs the opposite. What is Vibrational Medicine or Energy Healing?

What is energy medicine and vibrational healing

Healing Can Be Easy!

Wouldn’t it be an ideal world if all we had to do to overcome illness and disease was to lie back and listen to beautiful music? Well it’s not as far-fetched as you may think! From hands-on healers standing next to surgeons in the operating room to physicians calling psychics for assistance in diagnosis . . . the latest technology in the health arena is called “Vibrational Medicine” or “Energy Healing.”

Not Some New Fad!

Interestingly, vibrational healing is nothing new. It has been successfully practiced in numerous forms all over the world for thousands of years. Only recently has it come to the forefront in western society. That’s because scientists have finally developed instruments that are sophisticated enough to measure how and why this mode of healing works. Considered “quackery” in the past, many of these “alternative techniques” are now being used in tandem with mainstream medical treatment. My chiropractor has recently begun treating patients with acupuncture. The American Holistic Nurses Association is now training RNs to use therapeutic grade essential oils, also known as aromatherapy, in a clinical setting. Ancient Indian texts accurately describe the human energy system. Information and diagrams not only detail where the main energy centers are located but also, what part of the endocrine system each energy center works with and how imbalances in the energy center affect the physical, mental, and emotional state of the person. Specific vibrational tools are suggested for correcting imbalances depending on the particular energy center involved. These energy centers and the energy field surrounding the body can now be seen using Kirlian and other special photographic equipment. Quote about energy medicine and vibrational healing

Tai Chi is a Form of Energy Healing

The Chinese studied human energy for many years and came up with their own unique methods of working with it. What they discovered is that just as we have veins and nerves running throughout our bodies, we also have lines of energy called meridians. If the flow of energy along these lines is moving smoothly, we are in a state of good health. If the energy is blocked or there is too much energy in one area, we are in a state of dis-ease. Chi Kung and Tai Chi contain movements that open up the flow of energy along the meridians. Chi Kung exercises are designed to move and balance energy throughout the body. Tai Chi is a series of movements that works with the energy channels as well as increasing strength and flexibility of the physical body. It is now recognized by the MS Society as a valuable therapy. Everything in the universe is energy. Nothing is actually solid. Instead objects are made up of microscopic particles vibrating at such a fast rate that they appear solid. Our limited sense of sight doesn’t let us see the movement, or vibration, of the particles. Every object, including human organs, have a natural healthy vibratory rate referred to as “resonance”. If a part of the body begins to vibrate out of resonance or harmony, it creates what we term dis-ease. Jonathan Goldman, author of Healing Sounds: The Power of Harmonics, says: “If parts of the body become imbalanced, they may be healed through projecting the proper and correct frequencies back into the body.” Vibrational Medicine looks at the energy anatomy within and around the physical body. Imbalances and disharmonies are treated using frequencies from flower and gem essences, sound, therapeutic grade essential oils, radionics, homeopathics, acupuncture, color, hands-on healing, and crystals. Each individual sound, color, crystal, or flower essence has a specific quality that is beneficial for a particular human organ, system, or emotion.

Low Frequency Equals Poor Health

Researchers found that “the normal frequency range of the human body is between 62-68 MHz; but if it drops below that, the individual becomes a candidate for illness . . . Cold symptoms appear at 58 MHz, flu symptoms at 57 MHz, candida at 55 MHz, epstein bar at 52 MHz, cancer at 42 MHz. . “. . Stated simply if we can keep the body frequency high enough, and well oxygenated, we will be free of disease.”

Disease Prevention is Possible

Part of the intense interest in the field of vibrational medicine is the knowledge that disharmony shows up in the energy field before it becomes a problem in the body. If imbalances can be detected while still in the energy field, theoretically dis-ease can be avoided altogether. Another plus for vibrational healing is that it seems to have no negative side effects. It does, however, tend to produce more smiles, more energy, and an overall feeling of wellbeing. Most vibrational medicine techniques are complementary to one another and to traditional medicine.

Essential Oils are High Frequency

The higher the frequency, the more life force an object contains. More life force means better health. Life force is called Chi in China, Ki in Japan, and Prana in India. Each of these cultures has developed elaborate ways for humans to increase and balance the amount of life force they have within their bodies. Researchers discovered that “processed/canned food had a zero MHz frequency, fresh produce had up to 15 MHz, dry herbs from 12-22 MHz, and fresh herbs from 20-27 MHz. Quality essential oils started at 52 MHz and went as high as 320 MHz, which is the frequency of rose oil.” Essential oils have been used for thousands of years to treat physical and emotional ailments. Jean Valnet, M.D indicates in his book The Practice of Aromatherapy that essential oils are not only used to clean and disinfect European hospitals, replacing harsh chemicals but are also used to treat patients and are sometimes even ingested. In one test, it was found that when a person drinks a cup of coffee, his/her frequency can drop by as much as 10 MHz. It can take 3 or more days for his/her body to return to its original frequency. However, if they use an essential oil of 75 MHz or higher immediately after drinking the coffee, his/her frequency returned to normal in less than 1 minute. In addition to their use as vibrational healing, therapeutic grade essential oils provide many other key roles in improving health. Essential oils serve the same function in the plant as blood does in the human body. Their complex chemical constituents cleanse, protect, oxygenate, nourish, and offer many therapeutic benefits. Many therapeutic grade essential oils have antiparasitic, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. They also dissolve the petrochemical microfilm coating on human Growth Hormone (hGH) receptor sites. This microfilm prevents the receptor sites from receiving hGH properly which directly contributes to premature aging and a myriad of other health issues. That is why essential oils are included in my Dancing Dolphin Sacred Healing Oils and other vibrational healing products.

Negative Emotion Creates Disease

Gregg Braden, author of Awakening to Zero Point and Walking Between the Worlds, has research results which indicate that negative emotion causes the frequency of the body to decrease. On the other hand, feelings of love, joy, laughter, and other positive emotions cause the frequency of the body to increase. Jane Buckle, MD, international lecturer, and former Nursing Assistant to the Queen’s Physician of England, told me that if a person has an auto accident and doesn’t deal with the fear that it caused, within 2 years it will show up as disease in the body. The Harmonic Scale of Emotion, as described by Robert Tennyson Stevens, indicates which emotions are high frequency and which ones are not. The highest frequency emotion is enthusiasm. Love and joy also fall into this category. This is followed by pain (emotional or physical) which is followed by anger. The next lower frequency emotion is fear, which is followed by grief. Below grief is apathy. Finally, the lowest frequency emotion is unconsciousness (meaning it is so awful we have completely blocked out those situations from our lives). If we are experiencing anything less than enthusiasm in any area of our life, we have lowered our frequency and are running the risk of dis-ease. In order to be healthy, people must increase their frequency. Energy Healing Vibrational Medicine Much of my work and products address how to raise your frequency in order to stay healthy and happy. I often share unique exercises to help you heal the past permanently and keep your vibration high instead of being stuck in fear, anger, resentment, and the other lower frequency emotions. One well-researched technique for reducing stress and improving positive emotions is meditation.

Protection from Electromagnetic Frequencies and Negativity is Available

Most practitioners of Vibrational Healing use dowsing or a technique called Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing) to determine what frequencies would be beneficial for a person. If a product or frequency is beneficial the person will be strong. If the product or frequency is detrimental the person becomes weak. A test I often do as an example for my students involves a cell phone. When the cell phone is turned on, the person becomes weak. This happens because electromagnetic waves from the cell phone are disharmonious, disruptive frequencies for the human body. After spending a day at the office in front of a computer screen and under fluorescent lights most people feel wiped out. In truth, they are feeling the detrimental effects of electromagnetics in their energy field. Thankfully there are scientifically proven products, like The BioElectric Shield, that can protect a person from electromagnetic frequencies.

Flower and Gem Essences Aid in Healing on All Levels

Flowers contain the greatest amount of life force found in plants. Flower essences contain the energetic signature of the flower trapped in water through the use of sunlight. Each flower represents one or more qualities or emotions expressed by humans. The use of flower essences aids in balancing those qualities or emotions. This in turn aids in healing the physical issues caused by the imbalances. One of the beautiful qualities of flower essences is that they are self-regulating. This means a person can’t take too much. When an optimal level is reached, the body and energy field simply stops accepting the essence. Richard Gerber M.D. wrote Vibrational Medicine: New Choices for Healing Ourselves which is considered the definitive text on vibrational healing. In it he describes what he terms “The Human Multidimensional Energy System.” An egg-shaped energy field (or body) surrounds the physical body. There are several layers that make up the energy body. They go from the lowest frequency of the physical body at the center to higher and higher frequencies as you extend out toward the outer edge. The names he gives the various energy layers are the etheric body, the astral body, the mental body, and furthest out the causal body. Dr. Gerber indicates that homeopathy only works with the physical and the etheric bodies. Flower essences, however, work with all the subtle bodies, the physical body, and even higher spiritual energies. Regardless of the origin of the problem – physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual – flower essences can aid in healing. Many individuals and practitioners prefer my line of flower essences and aromatherapy roll-ons to all other brands.

Sound Can Be a Powerful Healer

Sound moves in waves through the air and is measured in cycles per second. According to sound healing expert, Jonathan Goldman, humans only hear within the range of 16 to 16,000 cycles per second. Dolphin sonar is around 180,000 cycles per second. Richard Daab, in an Interview with my friend Ilona Selke, writes that, “Dolphins recently have made the news as being better therapists than many humans. People in pain receive relief from swimming with dolphins when nothing else has helped. Autistic children suddenly become cooperative and interactive, where only a wall of silence was seen before.” Perhaps it is because dolphins emit such a high frequency that people experience healing while in the water with them. Healing with Sound can be accomplished in many ways. Sound healing practitioners can play instruments, use their voice, or play tapes or CDs. They can even have the client lie on a bed with speakers and circuits arranged so the music waves literally flow through the entire body. This special bed is often referred to as a “sound chamber.” At the beginning of the article I mentioned just lying back and listening to beautiful music in order to heal. Remarkable experiences have been reported with the use of sound. My dear friend and sound healing pioneer, Jonathan Goldman, and I have put together a powerful new series of sound healing energy elixirs called The Essence of Sound.

Hands-on Healing is a Powerful Way to Raise Vibration

Reiki and Therapeutic Touch are but two of the many names for Hands-on Healing. While a person sits or reclines, high-frequency energy flows through the practitioner’s hands to the client. The various types of hands-on healing use different hand positions and movements. Several scientific studies have been performed which clearly show that a greater amount of energy is emitted from a healer’s hands than from a non-healer’s hands. Apparently, we all have the ability to channel high-frequency energy through our hands. We simply have blocks in the energy channels in our body, which prevent us from doing it. Through the practice of Chi Kung exercises or the formal study of Reiki and other techniques, we are able to open the necessary channels to be hands-on healers. A few individuals are born with the channels open and they are considered “natural healers.” The most famous practitioner of hands-on healing was Yeshua ben Joseph (Jesus). At the beginning of the article I mentioned hands-on healers and psychics aiding doctors in their practice. These are the specific examples I was referring to. Julie Motz, a healer from the U.S. and author of Hands of Life, accompanies an open-heart surgical team. She does hands-on healing with the patient before, during, and after surgery. Recovery time is much shorter for patients who receive this treatment as compared to those who do not. Caroline Myss is a medical intuitive and author of numerous books including Anatomy of the Spirit. Norman Shealy M.D. began calling and supplied her with a patient’s name and age. With just those two bits of information she could provide a diagnosis of the patient’s medical condition, as well as the emotional trauma or belief that caused it, with greater than 95 percent accuracy. Energy healing can also be performed long distance. I offer what I call The Seed of Divine Restoration long distance energy healing. Many people swear it was the single most transformational experience they have ever had.

Prevention is Always the Best Policy

Gabriel Cousens M.D., in the Preface to Flower Essences and Vibrational Healing by Gurudas, says, “Although we often misperceive disease as something that happens on the physical plane, the true cause of disease comes from a conflict between the mind and the soul. While vibrational therapies such as flower essences can help overcome these problems, even stimulating healing of physical diseases, inner tranquility and calmness to prevent and overcome the real causes of disease can only be obtained through spiritual practices such as meditation.” Blessings, Bestselling author Debbie Takara Shelor signature         This article first appeared on my website spiritofnature.org. My Love for Native American Culture

I am so truly blessed to have friends from many Native American and other indigenous “nations.” I’ve had the great good fortune of having some extraordinary experiences that many would consider shamanic or related to Native American culture, earth-based spirituality or indigenous in nature. My intrigue began as a small child living in Texas. We often played cowboys and indians and I always insisted on being an indian (the term Native American was not yet part of my awareness at the time). I could close my eyes and literally feel the buckskin dress against my skin, the moccasins on my feet, the feathers in my hair, the pottery bowl in my hand. At the time I thought I was just making it up. Later, as I was being taken through the forest near Sedona, AZ by a professional guide, when I looked down, for a brief moment, instead of my hiking shorts and boots, I saw the buckskin dress and moccasins. Sitting on the ground right in front of the dancer at Chaco Canyon on Summer Solstice, I could feel that they were literally “waking up” the earth with their dance. No one had danced there in 500 years – according to what they said that day. I had a powerful vision while sitting in my sacred circle all day high up in the Sangre de Cristos after a sweat lodge early in the morning poured by a native man from back east somewhere. It was all part of Stuart Wilde’s 8-day Warriors in the Mist program. Over the years I have participated in drum circles, medicine wheels, shamanic journeys, sweat lodges, riding horses bareback and blindfolded, walking barefoot on the earth, having numerous encounters with animals in the wild, sitting for hours by a stream being “downloaded” with information, soul retrieval, leaving gifts of blue corn meal or something else in nature in exchange for a shell, a feather, or a stone, having spontaneous past life memories flash through my mind as I traveled and hiked in locations all over the globe, listening for hours to storytellers sharing their own adventures or that of their people, and being a storyteller myself. Each of these moments was a powerful gift in my life, not just for the experience and insight it brought me, but because of the other people who were part of it with me. EnJOY this fabulous collection of images of Native Americans: http://mashable.com/2015/11/25/edward-curtis-native-americans/ I share many life adventures in my upcoming Memoir.
Shoulds Destroy Relationships

Shoulds Can Destroy Relationships and Self Esteem

Shoulds Destroy Relationships The bloody shoulds destroy relationships and self-esteem. Blame, shame, victimhood, guilt … often create terrible destruction and rarely anything positive.

Blaming Others

The only way for a person to be happy is to stop blaming others and outside circumstances for their unhappiness. You have to take responsibility for how you react to the words and actions of other people. People’s behavior is one thing. Your reaction to it is all about you and nothing at all to do with them. If you want a great relationship with someone, you have to create it and make it a priority. You have to love, honor, accept, and appreciate the other person just the way they are. Of course, they have to do the same for your. Developing kindness, compassion, caring, and being conscientious of how your words and actions affect others is something you (as in all people) simply have to learn how to do if you ever want great relationships. The problem for most people is that it is impossible to do those things for another until one learns to do it for themselves – meaning you have to love, honor, accept, and appreciate yourself. You have to see your own brilliance. You also have to see your shortcomings and love yourself anyway. When you can do that, others will also. That’s just how it works. It took me years to figure all this out and apply it in my own life by truly learning to love and appreciate myself.

Shoulds Destroy Relationships

Emotional distress happens when you have unrealistic expectations of yourself and others or are attached to how you think you and they “should” be behaving. When they (or you) don’t behave the way you think they “should,” you get upset. It’s human nature. It is also something everyone needs to learn to get over. When you get angry, upset, or sad because someone didn’t behave the way you think they “should” have, that is a great opportunity to take a long hard look, heal, and release, the underlying cause of your anger or sadness. The current circumstance is simply a mirror showing you something that is still “broken” within. It is never about the other person or situation. It is always about the one reacting. People have good days and bad days. They are imperfect. Sometimes they are fun and interesting and other times they are grumpy. Sometimes they have energy to do things and other days they can barely get out of bed. That is just the truth. Some people are night owls while other are morning people. Some people are naturally more kind. Kindness is really important to me.

Think Before You Speak

If someone is mean, calls people names, is constantly judging, complaining about, and criticizing others, I simply refuse to hang out with them. They obviously are not showing honor or respect for those other people. If the people you tend to hang out with act this way, it’s time for new friends. It’s also time to look in the mirror because people are often drawn to people much like themselves.  You have to learn to think about how it would feel if someone said that to you, before you speak it out loud. Check out this article on Living the Golden Rule – the rule book I follow in life. If you have done something unkind, then recognize it, forgive yourself first, then apologize, and move on. In the future, think before you speak or act. Learning and growing is why we are here. We don’t expect a toddler to always be nice or know how to do everything already. Yet we expect ourselves, and others, to do everything perfectly all the time. When in truth, we are all just learning and growing. This is a little saying I came up with some time ago: “They are doing the best they can with what they’ve got Be it what they’ve experienced or what they’ve been taught.” In every given moment, we are all doing the best we can. Forgive yourself. Forgive others. Yes, we could all do better. But because of stress, environment, fears, limiting beliefs, judgments, expectations, attachments to outcomes, shame, blame, victimhood, and guilt, we behave less than best a great deal of the time. We can beat ourselves and others up over this forever. Or we can let it go, forgive, and move on. We are also greatly influenced by the expectations of others. If someone thinks we always screw up, we tend to screw up. If someone thinks we are brilliant, we tend to be brilliant. How you are viewed in the eyes and unspoken beliefs of those you surround yourself with does have an impact on you – whether beneficial or detrimental. They did a study a long time ago. I am not remembering all the details, but this was the gist of it: A teacher was given the name of each of her new students for the school year along with their locker number. However the teacher was told that the locker number was the student’s IQ. Whether the teacher openly treated students differently with what she thought was a higher IQ or if she simply had higher expectations of those students with high numbers and lesser expectations of those with low numbers, at the end of the year the student scores matched her expectations. Even for children who usually got A’s, if their number was lower, they got lower grades. How you believe people are is how they behave in your presence. If you think people are jerks, then you tend to be surrounded by jerks. A lot of it has to do with your own beliefs and expectations. When you change, the experiences you have with others changes as well.

Feed Your Mind the Right Things

We are comprised of 70 to 80% water. The studies by Masaru Emoto showed dramatic shifts in water structure by simply taping different words (written in Japanese Kanje / calligraphy) on a glass of water. http://www.masaru-emoto.net/english/water-crystal.html  Check out the images, they are fascinating. Hate caused severe distortion. Love caused extraordinarily beautiful and intricate crystalline structure. Music, news, conversation all have a real tangible effect on your body and therefore your mind and emotions. What you feed your mind matters. Who you surround yourself with matters. How you speak to others and how you let them speak to you matters. What you listen to, even your self talk, all makes a huge difference in how well you do in life and your level of happiness and success. Many success experts say that you are the sum total of the 5 people you spend the most time with. When you are stuck and wanting to change, the first thing to do is change who you hang out with. If you can’t do that physically, then do it through audio, video, and books. I know a very successful woman who used to read the autobiography’s of very famous people and then, in her mind, pretend that those people were sitting around a table talking with her – her own mental board room. She had “gotten into their head” by reading all about them and then started having conversations, asking questions, making decisions as if they were her friends and advisers. The famous book, Think and Grow Rich, would suggest something similar. I used to listen to audios and read books by my favorite spiritual teacher. On my way to and from work, I listened to his words of wisdom. I read and listened so often that sometimes I would suddenly hear him say a line or two in my head. It was very empowering and eventually helped me find the courage to leave an incredibly stressful career environment and head out into the unknown to find joy, passion, and my true life’s calling. Now, with the Magnificent U Foundation Course, I’ve created a way for people to take a deep dive into my work, read my words and hear my voice, related to personal and spiritual growth, energy healing, inspiration, new thoughts and perspectives about life, to truly become empowered and find their own courage to become magnificent and have greater relationships and a more meaningful life experience. Wise Women Global Gathering Global Meditation Prayer

Wise Women Global Gathering for Peace

Wise Women Global Gathering Global Meditation Prayer Wise Women Global Gathering. I am a firm believer that the only way to have peace “without” is to have peace within. It starts with each one of us. Watching the online news broadcasts live last evening (Nov. 13th), I was not in fear, anger, or judgment, I was in compassion and interest at what was unfolding in my world. Power, greed, control, these are male ego issues. The more you align with Divine Mother, the more you see all of the earth as “yours” – a part of you, an extension of you, an emanation of you – like being a grandmother to all of life. That doesn’t work for everyone of course. But it is my view. If I am at peace and I raise my vibration high enough, particularly if I hold an intention of peace while others do as well, it does affect the world around me. I’ve been “feeling it” for awhile – that I would be doing another gathering of women for a global cause. It wasn’t until Nov. 9th that I felt hit by the bolt of cosmic lightening and the realization of what it was to be about. I saw a video with Jack Black talking about COP21, global climate change, and Paris and instantly KNEW that was the place to focus. I had no idea, when I was “inspired” (guided from within) to put together the Wise Women Global Gathering and to focus all the prayers and energy on Paris, that the horrific events of the 13th would be occurring there. The same thing happened when I was still living in New Mexico and felt I absolutely had to book tickets to come visit my parents in Virginia. As soon as I booked the flight, the mass murder occurred on the Virginia Tech campus. When I came to visit, I went to campus, did prayers, shed quite a few tears, floated flowers on the Duck Pond and did some clearing work to balance out the energies and release the fear and sadness surrounding that event. We will be sending love, Light, and prayers all over the world to those who are suffering and those stuck in fear, anger, hatred, and separation from their own Divine nature. Paris is a focal point. Suffering and the need for support and compassion is global. I am very much a “global citizen.” I care about people, animals, and the earth everywhere. I’ve always been that way. The news media is extraordinarily biased. I avoid it whenever possible. I spent most of the day (after the Paris attacks) doing online research about what is really going on behind the scenes, in war zones, the greatest loss of life worldwide, where children are suffering, etc. This was the most comprehensive I came across: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ongoing_armed_conflicts And there is also this: http://www.globalissues.org/article/715/today-21000-children-died-around-the-world Please join in on Nov. 29th, 8 p.m. where ever you are and be sure to let other Wise Women know about it and join in as well.

What Labels Do You Give Yourself and Others That Keep You From the Divine Truth?

What Labels Do You Give Yourself and Others That Keep You From the Divine Truth?

StopLabelingSm How to let go of the labels and step into the Divine truth, the magnificence, the uniqueness, and oneness of who you are. This video does an extraordinary job of discussing labels. Labels divide us. They make us compare and disconnect from others.   [bctt tweet=”Labels divide us. They make us compare and disconnect from others.”]   The video talks about the division between races. But labels go much further. They divide us because of religion, gender, economic status, education level and so much more. We are all human. We are all emanations of the same Divine Source. We are all living extraordinary spiritual adventures here on planet earth and are here to grow and evolve as individuals. A few of the lessons we each must learn along the way include the realization of how we are similar, that Creator made everyone equal, that all are beautiful children of the Divine and no one is more or less blessed than another. Each person is born with unique gifts and talents and all are sacred. When you look deeply into someone’s eyes, you look beyond skin color and other apparent differences. You touch the beauty of the soul. The truth of what lives there is love.   [bctt tweet=”When you look deeply into someone’s eyes … You touch the beauty of the soul.”]   When you discover your own magnificence, your own sacredness, when your self esteem and joy soar because you know are one with All That Is, it becomes infinitely easier to see the beauty and sacredness of others. Ahhh what a glorious feeling to be in Unity with All. May you find great joy and meaning in these words, Bestselling author Debbie Takara Shelor signature
10 Great Tips on How to Love, Honor, and Appreciate Everyone!

10 Great Tips on How to Love, Honor, and Appreciate Everyone!

Love-HonorSm It is not always easy to find the “good” in everyone or to genuinely learn to like and appreciate them. I have a set of beliefs that makes this easier, or at least worth attempting to do. These beliefs or realizations are based on years of study, experience, and what I call “divine revelation (they come to me spontaneously in meditation and at other times when I am quiet and at peace)”:
  1. We are all emanations of the same Divine Source. You can say we are all children of God or spirits inside a body having a human experience or whatever words resonate most with you. The bottom line is, that spark of Divinity inside each of us is worthy of respect.
  2. Regardless of how they are acting, this is a little saying I “received” one day: They are doing the best they can with what they’ve got, whether its what they’ve experienced or what they’ve been taught.
  3. Bullies have typically been bullied. A very famous comment is “Hurt people, hurt people.” Any act of unkindness is typically a sign that the person has been seriously mistreated. I find it easier to feel compassion knowing this.
  4. Our job is to love, honor, accept, and appreciate everyone. There are a multitude of reasons for this. One of those reasons is that if we do that to others, then others will do it to us – the Law of Cause and Effect. Love, honor, acceptance, and appreciation is what everyone is seeking and deserves. Attempting to do that for everyone is my version of following The Golden Rule.
  5. Everything in life happens for a reason. Any discomfort going on in the moment is about learning something about who you are (the shadow self) and the opportunity to heal whatever needs to be healed. It is never about the other person and what they are doing or saying. How are you reacting (and why)? Is it showing you judgments, expectations, “shoulds,” and other things that definitely need to be healed and let go of.
  6. Very similar to the last one … all is as it should be.
  7. Our job is to embrace each moment, not fight against it. I have MANY articles about how to flow with change rather than resist.
  8. Every moment of every day is on purpose. Your soul is here on a spiritual adventure to evolve and grow. Every moment, every encounter, every situation, every person is there because your soul called them there for you to learn something, experience something, etc. Instead of being angry at the person or situation, fighting it, wishing it was different, go deeper and ask “why,” what can I learn, what can I heal, what can I let go of, how is this thought, belief, or judgment holding me back from becoming the person I am intending (on a soul level) to be?
  9. Joy is your natural state of being. Feeling anything less than that is an opportunity to learn and grow. The more out of sorts, angry, sad, riled up over things you are, the more easily something deeply buried is to find, heal, and release.
  10. And finally one of the other sayings I received through divine revelation: You have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
In order to step into your true Magnificence, you have to get outside of your comfort zone. It is in those moments of discomfort, when you are feeling stretched, pushed, and uncomfortable, that the greatest positive change is possible. I would not be a bestselling author if I had not moved beyond my discomfort to take the actions required to do so. I would not be nearly as healthy, happy, or have such a joy-filled adventurous life if I had not gone WAY outside my comfort zone on numerous occasions to try new things, study new things, look at everything from a completely different perspective, or do and say things that were uncomfortable. Helping others find peace, joy, and gain a new perspective, even while going through a really rough time, is one of my super powers. I offer private consultations for those needing laser-targeted assistance and wishing to make huge leaps in consciousness and awareness, truly breaking free of blocks and limitations and stepping into their true Magnificence. For those in a leadership role, these breakthroughs allow them to be of even greater service and help even more people in a bigger way. All of the Dancing Dolphin Sacred Healing Oils & Mists assist in bringing peace and a new perspective as well. Have a glorious day! Bestselling author Debbie Takara Shelor signature
The Power of Orca Dolphin Healing Energy

The Power of Dolphin Orca Healing Energy

The Power of Orca Dolphin Healing Energy Years ago I received a call from a very powerful and well-known healer from Hawaii. She wanted a private session. We scheduled the session for 6 p.m. on an evening that my son was going to be away all night on a camping adventure with the Boy Scouts. Driving home after dropping him off, I had the realization that the session was not only going to be for her, but also for me. We had never met. Her inner guidance navigated her to my Dolphin Empowerment website, as it does for so many. As soon as the conversation began, the energy started moving, and profound insights began to pour in for both of us. What had originally been planned as a 45 minute to 1-hour session turned into a 6-hour energy healing extravaganza. We talked, we laughed, we shared stories all while the energy was pouring through both of us. When it was all said and done, I had helped her to turn on the more finely-tuned nurturing aspects of the dolphin healing energies she works with, while she helped me to connect more fully with the truly intense orca healing energies that really power it up, amp it up, to blast through pretty much anything standing in the way. That power is exemplified by how you feel almost blown backwards when an orca breaches (leaps completely from the water). When dolphins frolic, its joyful, playful, creating an almost giddy level of joy. Orca … mmmmm …. that’s power and that is my true resonance. That is why only those who are truly ready and dedicated to experiencing real, tangible shifts in their life tend to show up to participate in my programs, have private sessions, or use my products. They aren’t designed for people who just want to be mentally stimulated or entertained. There is a reason I was drawn to live in the Northwest, connect deeply with the orca, Lolita, and her family there. There has always been a very intense side to me with Aries rising, being an only child, greatly preferring a dramatic clothing style over other choices, and being a natural-born leader. This activation was an opportunity to step more fully into the truth of who I am and what I’m here for. In one of the Facebook chats I used to offer, I used that blasting energy to break up some pretty icky energy hanging around someone. As soon as I started talking about blasting, inviting the others to join me in that intention, and I began using the sounds I create for such work, the person watching the energy in her space began to see Golden light – where before all she had seen was darkness. Dolphin orca healing energy … Powerful stuff!

What Does the Golden Rule Have to do with Education and High Self Esteem?

Thomas Moore said, “What if schools saw the care of children’s souls as their primary mission, coloring all ‘educational’ activities?” What a powerful thought! Studies show kids go in to first grade with high self esteem. By the time they graduate high school, self confidence has plummeted. From that jumping off point they are supposed to go to college or off into a workplace and thrive. Some do. For many others though, life continues as a serious struggle. Much of my work is helping people regain confidence, courage, and clarity after having been battered around by life’s various circumstances. Things would be so much easier for everyone concerned if the esteem piece was already intact as they face these challenges. But when a person living in doubt and low self w0rth is hit over the head by what I call “the metaphysical 2×4 up side the head,” (cancer, unfaithful spouse, death of a loved one, job loss, etc.), the dark night of the soul that ensues is horrific. Self esteem is something it takes years to repair. If people were HAALTMed (honored, accepted, appreciated, and loved – my words for how to treat someone properly) at home, school, and everywhere else … WOW this would be a very different world. If you truly live by the Golden Rule, that is how you treat everyone. No one said stepping into Magnificence, becoming personally empowered, and evolving spiritually was easy. But oh is it worth it! Another Trip to Yogaville

Another Magnificent Trip to Yogaville

Another Trip to Yogaville I have been blessed many times by my visits to Yogaville. When my dear friends, Andi and Jonathan Goldman, teach there, it gives us an opportunity to see one another in person. Since moving to the east coast from Santa Fe, seeing them in person happens much less often. Typically on the final day of their weekend course, I’m given the opportunity to share the Divine Name Essence with each of the participants in the class. After the workshop is over, I’m asked to stay and let people try additional essences, mists, and other products I offer. The Divine Name Essence is just one of the series of products I co-created with Jonathan Goldman, which infuses his Divine healing sounds into my sacred healing oils. We call it the Essence of Sound. Whether you use the oil while listening to the music, or on it’s own, they bathe the body and energy field in those exquisite vibrations and people really seem to love them. I know I do. Andi and Jonathan do as well. Many of those who love his music greatly enjoy the oils also. When I was in Yogaville at Jonathan and Andi’s workshop this spring, I met many of the people who live and work at the ashram. It was the first time I felt really connected with the community there. One of the wonderful ladies who has lived there since the early 80’s invited me to come back to stay for a weekend. We were collaborating to lead workshops and Goddess experiences together. So many wonderful things happened this time, I hardly know where to begin . . . When most people think of Yogaville, they instantly think of the LOTUS – Light of Truth Universal Shrine. What a gorgeous facility radiating such wonderful loving energy. People meditate there daily on the upper level. The lower level contains a collection of artifacts and sacred objects from many of the world’s religions. It is a place honoring all traditions. Yogaville - The Lotus Temple The image at the top of the article, of the hillside with two temples as you move up the hill, are what you see if you are standing in front of the LOTUS and look up the hill. The first night on my trip to Yogaville, my host took me to the top of that hill (in the top photo) to watch the sunset. Others showed up who were doing the same. We ended up joyfully telling many stories and laughing until long after the sun had set. Looking down on the Ashram from that vantage point was so lovely. I met with many people, did a private energy healing session for one of the ladies who lives there, and shared Dancing Dolphin Sacred Healing Oils & Mists, pendulums, and bracelets, with many. At lunch one day, my host suggested that I show my pendulums to a particular swami. I was so surprised that this deLightful woman that I’ve seen there many times is quite an accomplished dowser and absolutely loved the various pendulums I had with me and especially the one I gave her. Who knew swamis were into dowsing? I certainly didn’t. Much like here, there were deer everywhere. My host took me to see a statue at the farm – where they grow organically many vegetables and flowers. Just as we were leaving, the guy in charge drove in. He had just returned from selling produce at the vegetable stand. After our introductions, I asked him about the stand and the vegetables they had for sale. He went on to tell me all about it and then offered to walk around with me to pick fresh vegetables to take home. Beautiful, and very scrumptious, squash, peppers of all colors, some very unusual and yummy tomatoes, and many other veggies began filling the two huge bags I got to come home with. It was amazing the amount of vegetables I got for the money I spent. For dinner on Saturday, instead of eating as we usually do in the dining hall of the ashram, we drove 10 miles to a lovely little town and enjoyed a wonderful Italian meal at a restaurant owned by a former student of my friend and host for the weekend. Every Saturday night there is a sacred gathering. There is typically a short video clip of Swami Satchidenanda speaking followed by talk or music by one of the presenters holding a workshop there at the time. David Newman (Durga Das) was there that weekend. So Saturday night’s gathering involved his music and much dancing. The evening always concludes with participants being offered food that has been blessed. It was the weekend before Spring Equinox, so on Sunday afternoon one of the wonderful women from Yogaville facilitated a Peruvian Despacho. It was held on top of the hill overlooking the LOTUS. A large group of us gathered and shared in the beautiful ceremony honoring the harvest and blessing the earth. I had planned to return home on Sunday evening. But one of the women I’d connected with at a meal was teaching all weekend and wasn’t available until Monday. I stayed the extra day so she and I could get together for tea. Tea turned into lunch and could easily have turned into dinner. We had so many things in common, from interests to philosophy. It was a powerful connection and we are planning a collaboration for the future. The thing I am constantly reminded of is that fewer magical things happen if you never go any where and do any thing that is outside the normal for your life and your routine. When you live fully in the present moment, always open and anticipating wonderful things to happen, they usually do. Have a glorious day and enjoy your adventures at Yogaville or somewhere else!
