Sometimes things that seem the worst can often become the best. It is all a matter of perspective. And it is always your choice.
I’ve recently been through what has to be the most challenging experience I’ve ever had. And it offered the perfect opportunity to review past life trauma.
In the game called life, I almost always come out a winner.
How is that possible?
Because when times get tough, the tough go shopping!
Oh sorry, wrong lesson.
Because in the midst of tears and pain and the very foundations of my world appearing to fall apart, I remained open, vulnerable, and brutally honest with myself and those I love. And instead of falling into the trap of “Oh woe is me,” I took personal responsibility and spent hours upon hours reflecting inwardly to discover why I had created this scenario in my world.
And as always, when you ask the right questions, you ALWAYS get the answers.
The deep questions lead to several regressions into past life trauma, which resulted in many amazing and powerful discoveries about myself.
I am now completely free of an almost debilitating subconscious fear that has plagued me for centuries. It had greatly limited me this lifetime.
As I cried and processed and went on an emotional roller coaster, I periodically heard a still small voice saying, “The shackles are coming off.” It is a rare thing for me to hear a voice.
And then when I finally began to review this particular very intense past life trauma, it was suddenly, “Eureka! That’s it!” That makes so many things about my behavior under particular circumstances make sense.
And now the shackles are gone. I have been completely liberated from the burden of the false belief about who I am and how life is.
Ah, sweet freedom! It is totally euphoric.
The mere act of bringing the subconscious to the conscious (bringing the darkness into the light) heals at least 80 percent of the issue immediately. The remainder is typically healed in layers. That’s why certain issues seem to come up again and again and people think, “But, I thought I was done with that.”
And their metaphysical friends, teachers, and counselors, or their psychological professionals will gently remind them that it is like the layers of an onion – they peel off one layer at a time.
I used to believe that myself. That is until I spent a weekend in the mountains and the dolphins taught me otherwise.
So once this all surfaced, I just did the simple exercises the dolphins taught me to do in order to remove the past life trauma at the cellular DNA (encoded) level. And it is permanently transmuted.
None of the issues that I applied the Dolphin Spiral exercises to have ever reappeared.
A couple of months ago I was talking to Bayard of the Cure Show and we somehow got onto this topic of past life trauma. He suggested I tune in and ask how many traumas were influencing me on a daily basis – and to begin by asking if it was more than 100,000. I thought that was an outrageously large number.
We quickly determined that I had about 5000 traumas still affecting me.
He said that what I do must really work since the average person is dealing with 70,000 to 90,000 traumas.
I know you must be thinking – “If I have that much subconscious crap, how will I ever get clear and ever get my life to work?”
The beautiful thing is that many of the traumas are linked. If you had a trauma in one lifetime, that experience allowed you to take on certain fears, limiting beliefs, judgments, and expectations. Until the effects of the trauma are healed at the cellular level, then you will create another set of circumstances in another lifetime.
It gets really convoluted, but it boils down to whatever you believe, you create. So when you have a false set of beliefs running, you tend to create (draw to yourself subconsciously) situations that make that belief appear true. Then those events cause you to experience even more trauma. And it goes on and on and on.
So, when you heal something – particularly if you can find the beginning of the chain – the whole string of traumas just magically disappears. Wow. I am still in awe of how that works.
So after this recent round of healing core issues, when I tuned in about how many traumas were still affecting me, the answer was less than 1500. So the removal of this one major trauma took out more than 50% of the traumas I had been faced with. Lots of other things begin to shift when subconscious programming is altered.
For example, the average person runs a Bovis reading of 20,000. The last time anyone checked, my Bovis reading was approximately 400,000. After I did the healing work, it was approaching 700,000.
What does that mean? Well, I’m not sure exactly. But I do know that ascension is the raising of vibration. So I feel I am definitely heading in the direction I want to be going in.
And the circumstance that first appeared to be so horrible became the catalyst for amazing insight and healing. Like all circumstances, because of the way I chose to view and deal with it, it provided many priceless gifts.
The technology is here. It works. It is easy to apply. So if you are ready to jump up in vibration, to remove your own shackles, and to finally rid yourself of the things that you’d be more than happy to see leave, then why not get started.
Not everyone is sensitive to negative, detrimental, or disharmonious energy. But everyone can benefit from negative energy protection.
I read somewhere that a medical study done in a German hospital indicated that 85% of cancer can be directly linked to where Hartmann (or ley) lines cross the person’s body in their bed while they sleep. 85% is a huge number. Does that mean that we could prevent 85% of cancer issues by simply moving a person’s bed? The study seems to indicate that there is a strong argument for that.
Being in a location where ley lines cross is only one of numerous negative energetics that can cause humans and all living things a great deal of real trouble.
The whole energetic science of Feng Shui is devoted to working with and “curing” these problem energies in your home, office, store, and other locations.
I was delighted to meet Jami Lin. She has written several wonderful and highly acclaimed books about Feng Shui including The Essence of Feng Shui. Her newest work is called Color Alchemy: Self Mastery with Color.
There are numerous potential causes of detrimental energetics:
From the seemingly harmless act of someone being angry with you and throwing negative thoughts your way all the way up to elaborate curses put on you or even your ancestors, other people can seriously screw you up. Disincarnate entities or ghosts do exist. You can pick up the negative emotions of another simply by looking them in the eye or reacting emotionally to anything they say.
The more you work on yourself personally and spiritually, raising your own vibration and connecting more with Divinity, the greater your sensitivity will become to both beneficial and detrimental energetics.
Regardless of your sensitivity, clearing out the negative can hugely improve your health and your life.
Specific Questions About Negative Energy Protection
One of my Seed of Divine Restoration clients emailed asking a few questions concerning negative energy protection. I felt that the topics she was asking about could assist others. So I got permission from her to share the questions and responses with you.
Brenda writes: “Hi! I don’t know if you remember me, but I had a most wonderful session with you last November, the week before Thanksgiving. Thank you, again, it was most awesome and when I reflect on it, I feel this most incredible, loving, peaceful feeling!!
I need some guidance on how to handle a particular situation. I have a life partner that tends to be on the negative side. I have found the more spiritually in tune I become, the more sensitive I am to negative energy.”
Takara’s response: “You are correct in those statements and I think it will only increase.”
Brenda writes: “So, I have two questions. #1: What can I do to be stronger and not be affected by negative energy?”
Takara’s response: “Clear and seal your energy field twice a day.
To Help With Negative Energy Protection:
I highly recommend using:

Brenda Writes: “And #2: What can I do in our home environment that clears and keeps away negative energy? She likes to watch Court TV and other TV shows that are filled with negative energy–I swear I can feel it coming right out of the TV into our home. Most of the time, she will watch these shows with headphones on so I can’t hear anything, but it doesn’t seem to matter, I still feel it. I explained to her that I don’t want my home filled with negative energy. She says she understands, but I think she thinks I’m crazy and/or weak and she continues to watch those shows. I realize it’s not fair of me to ask her not to watch them, so what can I do to protect myself and to clear the energy in our home?”
Takara’s response: “As a former police officer, Raven (my ex.) used to greatly enjoy watching Law and Order and I had the same thing going on. I could literally feel the negative energy in the room as if it was a physical negative presence.
Here is something you can do. See a giant funnel above your entire house. Like a cone with the wide end just above your roof and the point way up higher in the air. Ask that this clearing device be placed there permanently. It is like a great cosmic vacuum cleaner. It takes away negativity and transforms it with a full spectrum of light and frequency. Also, ask for (and imagine) a giant rainbow filter (rainbow light about 2 inches thick) to be placed in front of the television screen – as big as the screen. That should take care of anything being emitted. Redo those at least once a week. I think you will see a huge difference.”
If you have a hard time imagining the rainbow, then use any color that comes to mind – from white light to violet to gold to mint green. You will know the perfect color. And feel free to change it as you are guided to. Violet is always a good choice as the violet ray is powerful at clearing.

What is Shamanism and Who is a Shaman?
A person who practices shamanism can be defined as someone who sees in the dark (psychically, energetically). Another description is someone who works in the unseen or spiritual realms.
Shaman is actually a Tungus word that comes from Siberia. It is commonly used in reference to a person who has special abilities and training in working in these spiritual energetic realms for the healing of individuals, the betterment of their community, and for being of service to humanity.
The term does not mean the same thing as Medicine Man (or woman) or Holy Man (woman). These are terms that describe different types of leaders, healers, and priests within many tribal cultures. The roles of these people vary from culture to culture and follow historical and traditional guidelines.
In contemporary society, these words are often interchanged, over used, and misunderstood.
Today we have energy healers, herbalists, homeopaths, naturopaths, and countless other methods and modalities for healing. There are a myriad of devices that attempt to assist people in the healing of physical and mental or emotional dis-ease. Many of these modern approaches are effective within their scope of purpose.
Shamanism is Holistic in Nature
This approach to healing is multifaceted and holistic. The focus is on the whole person: body, mind, and soul. Healing takes place within the spiritual (energetic) realms and then affects the mental/emotional and physical bodies as it penetrates and affects the whole being. The Shaman also often recommends changes in the person’s lifestyle and thought patterns.
A person is made up of more than just their physical body. They have a mental, emotional, and spiritual body as well. These bodies outside the physical body are known as the aura. Each “body” vibrates faster than the one below it. The physical body is the densest. The particles that make up this body are the slowest moving and therefore can be seen with normal vision. Surrounding the physical body is the mental body. Outside of it is the emotional body and finally the spiritual body. These bodies can be seen by people trained and/or gifted with psychic sight also known as clairvoyance.
There is also the gift of hearing what cannot normally be heard, known as clairaudience. And simply “knowing” things without psychic sight or vision is known as being clairsentient. A Shaman uses these skills to work in the energy bodies to transform disharmonious energies.
Disease Begins Outside the Physical Body
From a Shamanic perspective, disease (dis-ease), illness, imbalance and dis-harmony usually start in the outer, more ethereal energy bodies. These imbalances or disharmonious energies in the energy bodies (fields) can occur because of many factors including detrimental beliefs and fears, curses and negative thought projections from others, ancestral issues, alcohol and/or drug use, negative thought forms, physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, past life and other traumas, negative energies in the home or workplace, entity attachments, etc.
If the imbalance is not corrected, it then moves inward through the emotional and mental and finally manifests in the physical body as disease. If you heal or transform the imbalance at the spiritual level, all of the other bodies, including the physical body, will be affected.
A Shaman has the ability to locate and work with these imbalances in the person’s energy field using energetic tools and the skills mentioned earlier. Assuming the person then takes positive steps to change their lifestyle, beliefs, and behaviors, true and permanent healing can occur.
Let’s look at an example such as cancer.
Western Medicine is Not Holistic in Nature
Western medicine approaches disease from a combative point of view using surgery and medications. They are trained to diagnose and treat disease. They seldom look for the underlying cause and rarely concern themselves with the mental, emotional, or spiritual factors. Therefore the treatments are directed at the densest lowest level, the physical body, of the individual.
This type of cure can, and often is, effective. It is also often only temporary. In medical terms, they call it remission because they know it is likely to return.
From a Shamanic perspective, since the energetic cause of the disease has not been addressed, no healing has occurred. The energetic imbalance that caused the disease in the first place still exists in the energy field. Thus the pattern will often reoccur in the physical body at a later time.
A few things have to occur in order for true healing to take place.
A person has to take responsibility for their choices and behaviors that have created the disease.
They have to learn about, take responsibility for, and make changes that will allow healing to take place. Then they have to find someone, a Shaman, who can assist them in their healing process.
Once the energy pattern is corrected, the person must continue to live a new lifestyle, acting and thinking in entirely new ways, in order to maintain their new level of health. If they simply return to their old patterns of acting and thinking, they are likely to create the same problems all over again.
Shamanic healing is a personal journey.
A Shaman or Healer is someone who can assist a person along this journey: to guide, to facilitate and to encourage. It is ultimately up to the person themselves, however, whether healing occurs or not.
Shamanic healing – like other forms of alternative or complementary medicine – is often done in conjunction with, or in addition to, traditional western medicine. (Anyone with a serious condition should seek professional assistance from a trained healthcare practitioner.)
Even some western medical doctors are studying shamanism these days. My former husband, Raven, had the privilege of providing them with a sweat lodge experience when they’ve visited Santa Fe, New Mexico for such training.

When learning how to manifest your desires, NEVER get hung up on how the goal arrives, what it looks like in the end, the “how” of the way it should come into fruition.
I have the perfect example to share.
I’ve been wanting to take another cross country trip so I can stop in Austin and see one of my dearest friends. She lived in Santa Fe when I lived there. Even though I’ve been back to Santa Fe several times since moving to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, since she no longer lives there, we haven’t managed to see one another in about 5 years.
So, from the comfort of my own home, the people I’ve wanted to see for ages are showing up at my front door. First, my friend David (someone else I’ve been saying I wanted to see) called one day last week and showed up the same day (he’s a Canadian who grew up in London, has a lovely British accent, and spends most of his time globe trotting). And now Maya is coming …
Instead of focusing on the trip I thought was required to make it happen, I was focused on what really mattered to me … to see my friend. The Universe rearranged itself and voila things are popping into my reality that I desire.
Every time you go somewhere new, you become a new person … with a new perspective, new experiences, and new insights. The more you travel and experience new things, the easier it becomes to appreciate cultural diversity, and to transform your life.

Experiencing and appreciating cultural diversity is one of many reasons I love to travel. This is why I love moving to different locations, meeting new people and surrounding myself, enveloping myself, in the different energies of ethnicity, of belief, of tradition and history, of the colors and texture of diversity, in order to understand the beautiful tapestry of humanity and truly KNOW and become ONE with it.
Enjoying the Company of Others
As a young child, my father sometimes traveled with business, and on occasion, my mom and I would come along. We once spent a week in Birmingham, Alabama and every day when the housekeepers (all African American women) were finished cleaning the rooms, they sat in a circle of chairs at the end of our hall, told stories, and laughed. I begged my mom to let me join them. They said they didn’t mind. Every day I sat with them and listened to their stories and laughed too. I have no idea what they thought of the skinny little blonde girl from Texas.
As we studied history in school and I read about the atrocities inflicted on the Native Americans, the African Americans, the Chinese and so many of the other cultures by the white people, I would weep, not being able to understand how anyone could mistreat another.

It was so odd at first to be living as a minority, a white woman in a sea of beautiful brown skin, dark eyes and hair, of the Native American, Spanish, and Mexican cultures of New Mexico. At 5’4″, I was actually rather tall for a female. It was there that I was so blessed …
Someone was discussing how many people complain about living in a Spiritual Wasteland and think it would be much easier to live in a community in a spiritual location. Someone else in the same discussion mentioned how living in a place like Santa Fe or Taos would be absolute Nirvana. Both agreed that one can find community and joy anywhere.

- hike (avoid places where there are lots of noisy people or motors disturbing the natural tranquility of nature),
- sit on the earth or on a large bolder in silence and just feel and hear and see the beauty around you (even better if you sit on the earth inside a medicine wheel),
- garden (organically of course), get your hands in the soil (no gloves) and feel the earth between your fingers,
- go barefoot on the earth (never on ground that has been sprayed with pesticides and other harmful chemicals – never use toxic chemicals in your garden or anywhere else!),
- place a bird feeder near a window and stop to watch the birds and other wildlife as often as possible,
- kayak, canoe, raft, etc. (spend time on water without the distortion of motor noise),
- anytime you see an animal, stop everything to watch it for awhile,
- even indoors, listen to recorded nature sounds, fountains, or wind chimes,
- begin to track the moon phases,
- always make it a point to go out and gaze on the full moon,
- spend a little time in the sun every day (never allow yourself to burn and avoid sunscreen if at all possible. That usually means you have to build up your time in the sun slowly day by day),
- acknowledge the Spring and Fall Equinox, Summer and Winter Solstice (do something in nature – many people participate in drumming circles, sweat lodges, dancing, or sitting in silence in meditation, etc. on those days),
- watch videos or documentaries that help you explore the various aspects of nature, and finally
- join my Wild Dolphin Lovers group on Facebook to enjoy beautiful water, dolphin, and whale images, videos, and stories.
