Enjoy life give yourself permission

I read an article recently by a success guru listing all the things that are a waste of time. I agreed with most things on the list. But the first item was “watching TV.” When I saw that, I thought I would share the following with you as some food for thought about taking some time to enjoy life …

Enjoy life give yourself permission

I never watch TV per se, but this introvert has always used a movie or a couple of streamed episodes of something (commercial free) as the best wind down to a very long day of thinking, creating, consulting, and decision making. Since I don’t currently have a significant other and my son is now in college, it is not taking precious time away from loved ones to let a screen entertain my brain. We all have things that bring us joy and for some of us, that includes cinema.

According to the “Three Boxes of Life” by the author of another book I HIGHLY recommend, “What Color is Your Parachute,” a balanced life includes equal amounts of work, play, and learning. As a professional in helping others lead a balanced, joyful, more stress-free life, I condone including some activities that allow you to just “be” vs “do” all the time.

Being visually entertained allows my brain to recharge in ways that reading and other activities do not. I also dance, do yoga, meditate, and tons of other things to take care of myself. For me, this enjoyment of storytelling in visual form feeds my soul. I read somewhere that Buckminster Fuller felt there to be only a hand full of jobs that had any merit and entertaining others was, surprisingly, on that list. I looked for the quote, but haven’t found it yet.

On the flip side, being bombarded by commercials that lead you to believe that no matter what you have you need more and watching news that makes you think the world is a very unsafe place and keeps you in fear is definitely not a good idea. That, I wholeheartedly agree with.

In almost all things, I believe in the 80/20 rule … more like 90/10. Ninety percent of the time you do things or eat things that are good for you, that are leading you towards the goals you are wishing to achieve in your personal and business life, as well as your health. 10% of the time, however, you give yourself permission to enJOY life, whatever that means for you.

Of course, if your life is out of balance, you are overweight or facing some serious health issue, or your career or finances are in serious trouble, then you have to do whatever it takes to turn that around and that means 100% of the time doing exactly the right actions to get you there.

May you truly enjoy life,

Meditation Quote by Bruce Lee:

“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless – like water. Now put the water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”

Flower Essences Aromatherapy Herbs for Health

Nutrition & Herbs, Aromatherapy, & Flower Essences – Nature’s Natural Healers

Plants are nature’s healers. Flower essences, aromatherapy (essential oils), herbal supplements, powders, and tincture all provide powerful support for the human body.

Flower Essences Aromatherapy Herbs for Health

Practically every vegetable you can imagine offers some beneficial nutrients that support the human body. The same is true of herbs. Yet what you get from broccoli is different from what you get by eating a carrot. Both are beneficial. Both are vegetables. Yet they are each unique and offer different forms of support for human health.

Essential oils (EOs) used in Aromatherapy also come from plants. And each one, again, offers an entirely unique benefit to the human body. Peppermint helps with nausea and stomach upset. Helichrysum helps to eliminate pain. And there are many many more.

There is another form of support offered to humans by the plant kingdom. That support is energetic in nature and comes from the flower. And just like broccoli provides different “necessary ingredients” than carrots, each flower offers a different vibration to assist.

Of all the support available from plants, according to Dr. Richard Gerber M.D., only flower essences provide assistance on all levels of our being – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

There are vast differences in the nutrition available from a carrot. If it is fresh and organic, it is scientifically proven to have higher levels of “the good stuff” than one that is frozen and grown in nutrient-depleted soil and was inundated with chemicals.

The same is true for any plant-based product. There are many factors that determine the quality and potency of essential oils and flower essences.

The number of nutrients in the soil, the location and habitat, other plants and even rocks in the vicinity, if they are grown naturally and organically or sprayed with chemicals and are GMO. If they are harvested at their peak.

The method used to get the oil out of the plant greatly affects its medicinal qualities. Low temperature and pressure with no chemicals is vital to an essential oil’s quality and potency. It must be sealed airtight – just like the Egyptians did with the essential oil jars they buried with the pharaohs. Sunlight, heat, and air can destroy the delicate nature of an aromatherapy oil.

If produce doesn’t say “organic,” then it isn’t. If an essential oil doesn’t say that it is organic & steam distilled, then it probably isn’t.

Now we move on to the more mysterious energy-based (and in my opinion most powerful) form of support offered by the plants – the flower essence.

Anyone can cut a few flower blooms and place them in a bowl of water, set it in the sun, and call it a flower essence.

The physical aspect of “creating” an essence only accounts for between 5 and 15% of its quality and effectiveness.

A rose is not a rose is not a rose. And a flower essence is not a flower essence is not a flower essence.

There are literally hundreds of factors that can affect the result when creating flower essences.

Again the growing conditions are very important. So is the location. I’ve made a flower essence from the same species of daisy in two separate locations – on the north shore of Lake Ontario and in the high desert in the American Southwest. Both were made at the peak of bloom in the same sacred way. I even used the very same bowl. Yet the resulting essences are vastly different in vibration and even their primary purpose (or benefit) is different.

The date and time the essence is made affect the result just like the date, time, and location of your birth impacts who you are.

Approximately 20% of the overall result is based on the consciousness level of the person who makes the essence. (I actually thought this percentage would be higher).

Read Power vs. Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior to learn about what I mean when I talk about consciousness level. (I’m also writing my own book about this subject, but it won’t be out for awhile.)

A full 50% of the end result is based on the relationship between the person making the essence and the Divine Presence or Spirit of the plant – known by many names including Flower Deva.

These are the rudiments of figuring out the difference between a truly powerful (almost miraculous) flower essence and one that has much less power or benefit for the end user.

Many people have indicated that Dancing Dolphin Oils and Mists are the only essences they can actually feel and notice a difference with. Others use them exclusively, over all other options, for themselves and their clients.

Since, as healing therapies go, all flower essences are easily affordable, why not ensure you are getting the very best.

Blessings,

Harmony for the Holidays

I’ve never been to a holiday gathering with family or friends where there was anything but harmony for the holidays … ever … my entire life. I’m talking about never witnessing first hand a family gathering full of discord. It doesn’t matter if it was with immediate or extended family, the family of a boyfriend, fiance, or husband, or a gathering in my own home of friends who didn’t all know one another before the gathering … harmony and delight at being in one another’s presence has always been pervasive at these events.

It begins within.

And it begins with the parents. If the parents love, honor, accept, and appreciate themselves, they also love, honor, accept, and appreciate their own parents, their siblings, their children, etc.

Each child needs to be taught to love, honor, accept, and appreciate themselves and then to extend that to others as well.

The result of such loving and honoring is harmony within all the relationships.

I can’t even imagine doing life any other way.

Harmony for the Holidays

Does that mean I’ve never encountered disharmony?

Hardly!

I went from being highly popular and enjoying so many delightful friends in schools both in New Jersey and Texas … to being severely bullied, rejected, and having only a few friends in a small town in Virginia. High school was hell … there’s no other more pleasant way to put it. The bullying was so bad that for at least a year or more I came home and cried every single day. I didn’t understand what I was doing wrong, why I didn’t fit in, why people didn’t like me. I was in such foreign territory.

I’d also never been anywhere that people pretended to like you to your face and then talked badly about you behind your back. Being an empath, you can pick up on the incongruence immediately. You can literally “feel” when someone doesn’t like you. Trust me, it doesn’t feel good.

Once I was no longer in high school (being forced to be around people who didn’t like me and, therefore, whom I didn’t like in return) I began to thrive. I quickly developed a network of friends at work and at college. I began taking a leadership role in professional organizations and that has continued to this day. I am deeply deeply blessed to have so many friends.

But that didn’t happen by accident or because I’m more special than anyone else. It happened because I got very clear that I wanted a wonderful group of friends. You might have seen other articles where I talk about the affirmations I used to say about friendship. It goes something like this, “I want interesting, fun, uplifting friends all over the world who are making a positive difference.” And now, after many years of “receiving” teachings that have helped me formulate my own teachings, I would add: “We each love, honor, accept, and appreciate one another and are deLighted to be in one another’s presence and feel blessed to have each other in our lives.”

I highly recommend you do something similar when it comes to all your relationships … romance, friendships, business partnerships, with co-workers, committee members, and everything else you participate in. Intend harmony. Intend peace. Intend cooperation, admiration, appreciation, acknowledgement, friendship, and yes, even love (not the romantic kind, the Divine unconditional kind).

When people seek my advice about romance, I help them get crystal clear about what they are looking for in both a partner and in the relationship itself. I help them form a picture in their own mind and words to describe exactly what they are seeking. And I often suggest that they add something about it being a “mutual admiration society” where you each feel truly blessed to have the other in your life.  The best relationships involve partners who continue to feel that way over time. I’m not talking about living with rosy colored glasses, not seeing the truth or flaws in the other. I’m talking about seeing them even more clearly than most and loving, honoring, accepting, and appreciating them for exactly who they are … warts and all. Both partners have to feel that way though. Honesty and integrity are key.

But just like developing harmony around the table at the holidays, you have to love yourself first. You have to see your value, your gifts, your unique magnificent glorious self with all its fabulous talents and all its spectacular flaws and love yourself, appreciate yourself, be OK with yourself when you screw up, and delight in yourself when you succeed regardless. You aren’t perfect. You are human. It just comes with the territory.

The more you learn to love, honor, accept, and appreciate you, the easier it is to do the same for others … and the more often others offer the same to you.

Back to harmony at the holidays ….

You can intend a different outcome within your home, around the table, watching the game or whatever rituals your family follows when they gather. Before people arrive you can set your intention (not being attached to it going that way) for harmony, love, happiness, laughter, joy, and fun – or whatever joyful things you wish to experience for yourself and those you love enough to invite into your home.

Harmony 4 the Holidays - Before people arrive you can set your intention for harmony, love, happiness, laughter, joy, and fun - or whatever joyful things you wish to experience for yourself and those you love. Click To Tweet

Fear screws it all up of course. If you are afraid that there will be disharmony … guess what will happen?

You already know the answer.

You get more of what you focus on … so you must divert your attention AWAY from the things you do not want and TOWARD the things you do.

  • Focus on peace and feel it throughout your body and your home.
  • Focus on love and feel it throughout your body and your home.
  • Focus on harmony and feel it throughout your body and your home.
  • Focus on joy and feel it throughout your body and your home.
  • Focus on compassion and feel it throughout your body and your home.
  • Focus on deep, meaningful, conversations and feel it throughout your body and your home.
  • You get the idea … decide what you want to experience and imagine it real.
  • Tip – It is a lot easier to feel something if you close your eyes.

LOA Imagine it real

Bring In Harmony for the Holidays

Imagine a giant bubble of light surrounding the table where you will eat and calling in your Higher Self and Guides asking that the bubble of light be infused with love, joy, laughter, delight, companionship, harmony, peace, etc. etc.

See a similar bubble around your entire home and again ask your support team to infuse it with harmony, peace, joy, and love. Add the other words that have great meaning to you and that you wish to have in your home.

See a giant block of violet flame or light (like the purple image above only less dense) over a foot thick in front of your entire front door – or whatever door people enter. Everyone who enters will be cleansed of any icky sticky disharmonious, noxious, disempowering, or negative energy as they enter. It’s like taking a beautiful violet light bath. It brightens the mood and feels totally glorious.

Tip – you don’t have to wait for the holidays to do these things. You can do it anytime you desire.

I recommend you energetically clear and infuse your conscious intention into your home, your vehicle, and other places you frequently visit. And I suggest that you do it often. To learn extraordinarily effective clearing and infusing techniques (much more powerful than simple intention), take my online dowsing course or my new Dancing Dolphin Way of Healing and Enlightenment training once I get the sales page up.

Have a delightful day today and every day,

Takara

The Power of Words Conscious Language

Past Life Trauma - Rising From the Ashes Like the Phoenix!

Sometimes things that seem the worst can often become the best. It is all a matter of perspective. And it is always your choice.

I’ve recently been through what has to be the most challenging experience I’ve ever had. And it offered the perfect opportunity to review past life trauma.

In the game called life, I almost always come out a winner.

How is that possible?

Because when times get tough, the tough go shopping!

Oh sorry, wrong lesson.

Because in the midst of tears and pain and the very foundations of my world appearing to fall apart, I remained open, vulnerable, and brutally honest with myself and those I love. And instead of falling into the trap of “Oh woe is me,” I took personal responsibility and spent hours upon hours reflecting inwardly to discover why I had created this scenario in my world.

And as always, when you ask the right questions, you ALWAYS get the answers.

The deep questions lead to several regressions into past life trauma, which resulted in many amazing and powerful discoveries about myself.

I am now completely free of an almost debilitating subconscious fear that has plagued me for centuries. It had greatly limited me this lifetime.

As I cried and processed and went on an emotional roller coaster, I periodically heard a still small voice saying, “The shackles are coming off.” It is a rare thing for me to hear a voice.

And then when I finally began to review this particular very intense past life trauma, it was suddenly, “Eureka! That’s it!” That makes so many things about my behavior under particular circumstances make sense.

And now the shackles are gone. I have been completely liberated from the burden of the false belief about who I am and how life is.

Ah, sweet freedom! It is totally euphoric.

The mere act of bringing the subconscious to the conscious (bringing the darkness into the light) heals at least 80 percent of the issue immediately. The remainder is typically healed in layers. That’s why certain issues seem to come up again and again and people think, “But, I thought I was done with that.”

And their metaphysical friends, teachers, and counselors, or their psychological professionals will gently remind them that it is like the layers of an onion – they peel off one layer at a time.

I used to believe that myself. That is until I spent a weekend in the mountains and the dolphins taught me otherwise.

So once this all surfaced, I just did the simple exercises the dolphins taught me to do in order to remove the past life trauma at the cellular DNA (encoded) level. And it is permanently transmuted.

None of the issues that I applied the Dolphin Spiral exercises to have ever reappeared.

A couple of months ago I was talking to Bayard of the Cure Show and we somehow got onto this topic of past life trauma. He suggested I tune in and ask how many traumas were influencing me on a daily basis – and to begin by asking if it was more than 100,000. I thought that was an outrageously large number.

We quickly determined that I had about 5000 traumas still affecting me.

He said that what I do must really work since the average person is dealing with 70,000 to 90,000 traumas.

I know you must be thinking – “If I have that much subconscious crap, how will I ever get clear and ever get my life to work?”

The beautiful thing is that many of the traumas are linked. If you had a trauma in one lifetime, that experience allowed you to take on certain fears, limiting beliefs, judgments, and expectations. Until the effects of the trauma are healed at the cellular level, then you will create another set of circumstances in another lifetime.

It gets really convoluted, but it boils down to whatever you believe, you create. So when you have a false set of beliefs running, you tend to create (draw to yourself subconsciously) situations that make that belief appear true. Then those events cause you to experience even more trauma. And it goes on and on and on.

So, when you heal something – particularly if you can find the beginning of the chain – the whole string of traumas just magically disappears. Wow. I am still in awe of how that works.

So after this recent round of healing core issues, when I tuned in about how many traumas were still affecting me, the answer was less than 1500. So the removal of this one major trauma took out more than 50% of the traumas I had been faced with. Lots of other things begin to shift when subconscious programming is altered.

For example, the average person runs a Bovis reading of 20,000. The last time anyone checked, my Bovis reading was approximately 400,000. After I did the healing work, it was approaching 700,000.

What does that mean? Well, I’m not sure exactly. But I do know that ascension is the raising of vibration. So I feel I am definitely heading in the direction I want to be going in.

And the circumstance that first appeared to be so horrible became the catalyst for amazing insight and healing. Like all circumstances, because of the way I chose to view and deal with it, it provided many priceless gifts.

The technology is here. It works. It is easy to apply. So if you are ready to jump up in vibration, to remove your own shackles, and to finally rid yourself of the things that you’d be more than happy to see leave, then why not get started.

Blessings,

Negative Energy Protection

Negative Energy Protection

Not everyone is sensitive to negative, detrimental, or disharmonious energy. But everyone can benefit from negative energy protection.

Being able to detect detrimental energies – meaning you can feel it – has little to do with whether it has a negative impact on you or not. Illness, lack of energy, even an unwanted emotion being present can often be traced back to a person’s encounter with a negative energy of one kind or another. Lack of finances, health, love, and other desirables can often be caused by disharmonious energies being present in your energy field or your environment. We are talking about every aspect of your life here.

I read somewhere that a medical study done in a German hospital indicated that 85% of cancer can be directly linked to where Hartmann (or ley) lines cross the person’s body in their bed while they sleep. 85% is a huge number. Does that mean that we could prevent 85% of cancer issues by simply moving a person’s bed? The study seems to indicate that there is a strong argument for that.

Being in a location where ley lines cross is only one of numerous negative energetics that can cause humans and all living things a great deal of real trouble.

The whole energetic science of Feng Shui is devoted to working with and “curing” these problem energies in your home, office, store, and other locations.

I was delighted to meet Jami Lin. She has written several wonderful and highly acclaimed books about Feng Shui including The Essence of Feng Shui. Her newest work is called Color Alchemy: Self Mastery with Color.

There are numerous potential causes of detrimental energetics:

From the seemingly harmless act of someone being angry with you and throwing negative thoughts your way all the way up to elaborate curses put on you or even your ancestors, other people can seriously screw you up. Disincarnate entities or ghosts do exist. You can pick up the negative emotions of another simply by looking them in the eye or reacting emotionally to anything they say.

The more you work on yourself personally and spiritually, raising your own vibration and connecting more with Divinity, the greater your sensitivity will become to both beneficial and detrimental energetics.

Regardless of your sensitivity, clearing out the negative can hugely improve your health and your life.

Specific Questions About Negative Energy Protection

One of my Seed of Divine Restoration clients emailed asking a few questions concerning negative energy protection. I felt that the topics she was asking about could assist others. So I got permission from her to share the questions and responses with you.

Brenda writes: “Hi! I don’t know if you remember me, but I had a most wonderful session with you last November, the week before Thanksgiving. Thank you, again, it was most awesome and when I reflect on it, I feel this most incredible, loving, peaceful feeling!!

I need some guidance on how to handle a particular situation. I have a life partner that tends to be on the negative side. I have found the more spiritually in tune I become, the more sensitive I am to negative energy.”

Takara’s response: “You are correct in those statements and I think it will only increase.”

Brenda writes: “So, I have two questions. #1: What can I do to be stronger and not be affected by negative energy?”

Takara’s response: “Clear and seal your energy field twice a day.

To Help With Negative Energy Protection:

I highly recommend using:

  • The free Daily Harmony meditation that not only helps you clear and seal your field but also helps repair any tears or rebuild an energy field that has been shattered.
  • Clear yourself and your space with dowsing. It is extremely simple, fast, and effective. Also, dowsing is the fastest way I know to fine-tune and enhance your intuition. That way, you can receive insights, inspirations, and wisdom from within. It is a deeply empowering practice.
  • A BioElectric Shield – I wear a gold one every single day.”

Brenda Writes: “And #2: What can I do in our home environment that clears and keeps away negative energy? She likes to watch Court TV and other TV shows that are filled with negative energy–I swear I can feel it coming right out of the TV into our home. Most of the time, she will watch these shows with headphones on so I can’t hear anything, but it doesn’t seem to matter, I still feel it. I explained to her that I don’t want my home filled with negative energy. She says she understands, but I think she thinks I’m crazy and/or weak and she continues to watch those shows. I realize it’s not fair of me to ask her not to watch them, so what can I do to protect myself and to clear the energy in our home?”

Takara’s response: “As a former police officer, Raven (my ex.) used to greatly enjoy watching Law and Order and I had the same thing going on. I could literally feel the negative energy in the room as if it was a physical negative presence.

Here is something you can do. See a giant funnel above your entire house. Like a cone with the wide end just above your roof and the point way up higher in the air. Ask that this clearing device be placed there permanently. It is like a great cosmic vacuum cleaner. It takes away negativity and transforms it with a full spectrum of light and frequency. Also, ask for (and imagine) a giant rainbow filter (rainbow light about 2 inches thick) to be placed in front of the television screen – as big as the screen. That should take care of anything being emitted. Redo those at least once a week. I think you will see a huge difference.”

If you have a hard time imagining the rainbow, then use any color that comes to mind – from white light to violet to gold to mint green. You will know the perfect color. And feel free to change it as you are guided to. Violet is always a good choice as the violet ray is powerful at clearing.

How to Manifest Your Desires

How to Manifest Your Desires

When learning how to manifest your desires, NEVER get hung up on how the goal arrives, what it looks like in the end, the “how” of the way it should come into fruition.

I have the perfect example to share.

I’ve been wanting to take another cross country trip so I can stop in Austin and see one of my dearest friends. She lived in Santa Fe when I lived there. Even though I’ve been back to Santa Fe several times since moving to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, since she no longer lives there, we haven’t managed to see one another in about 5 years.

But the truth is, I don’t really care about the trip. What I’ve said out loud a few times (over the past several months with great clarity) is “I simply must see Maya.”

Her life is so busy that we rarely even get to talk by phone. We text sometimes and once every 3 or 4 months we share a precious hour-long phone call. But because of how her life tends to be vs how I make my hours and can easily carve out time for friends, I was operating under the assumption that if I wanted to see her, then I had to be the one to figure out a way to make it happen – meaning how to get me to where she is.

She texted me the other day and said her son is working in upstate NY as a camp counselor and she was picking him up in August. She wanted to stop by for a day or two on the way back to Austin. Gotta love it!

Then, she sent another message yesterday that plans had changed. Her son wants to stay for a few days longer with friends he’s made who live up there. But the friends have no place to store his luggage. He can only stay if he doesn’t have his luggage. She volunteered to pick up his luggage and then come to see me for several days while he hangs out with his new friends. Then, he can get on a bus or train and meet her at my house. Love it even more!

So, from the comfort of my own home, the people I’ve wanted to see for ages are showing up at my front door. First, my friend David (someone else I’ve been saying I wanted to see) called one day last week and showed up the same day (he’s a Canadian who grew up in London, has a lovely British accent, and spends most of his time globe trotting). And now Maya is coming …

Instead of focusing on the trip I thought was required to make it happen, I was focused on what really mattered to me … to see my friend. The Universe rearranged itself and voila things are popping into my reality that I desire.

Instead of focusing on business schemes and the “how to’s” of everything, which of course I obviously have to also focus on to some extent, I spend more time focused on raising my vibration, expanding my consciousness and awareness, and embody what I call the Noble C’s (calm, clear, confident, and Divinely connected).
When learning how to manifest your desires focus on the “right” things and the things you desire seem to magically fall into place. Working on yourself isn’t always easy, but boy is it worth it!
Have a magnificent day,

Travel & Experience Places & People Unlike Yourself to Appreciate Cultural Diversity

Travel & Experience Places & People Unlike Yourself to Appreciate Cultural Diversity

Every time you go somewhere new, you become a new person … with a new perspective, new experiences, and new insights. The more you travel and experience new things, the easier it becomes to appreciate cultural diversity, and to transform your life.

Tears started streaming down my face as I read the article and watched the video mentioned below about cultural diversity in the classroom.

Experiencing and appreciating cultural diversity is one of many reasons I love to travel. This is why I love moving to different locations, meeting new people and surrounding myself, enveloping myself, in the different energies of ethnicity, of belief, of tradition and history, of the colors and texture of diversity, in order to understand the beautiful tapestry of humanity and truly KNOW and become ONE with it.

Enjoying the Company of Others

As a young child, my father sometimes traveled with business, and on occasion, my mom and I would come along. We once spent a week in Birmingham, Alabama and every day when the housekeepers (all African American women) were finished cleaning the rooms, they sat in a circle of chairs at the end of our hall, told stories, and laughed. I begged my mom to let me join them. They said they didn’t mind. Every day I sat with them and listened to their stories and laughed too. I have no idea what they thought of the skinny little blonde girl from Texas.

As we studied history in school and I read about the atrocities inflicted on the Native Americans, the African Americans, the Chinese and so many of the other cultures by the white people, I would weep, not being able to understand how anyone could mistreat another.

A White Chic (chick) Living in a Non-White World

It was so odd at first to be living as a minority, a white woman in a sea of beautiful brown skin, dark eyes and hair, of the Native American, Spanish, and Mexican cultures of New Mexico. At 5’4″, I was actually rather tall for a female. It was there that I was so blessed …
