Another Trip to Yogaville

Another Magnificent Trip to Yogaville

Another Trip to Yogaville I have been blessed many times by my visits to Yogaville. When my dear friends, Andi and Jonathan Goldman, teach there, it gives us an opportunity to see one another in person. Since moving to the east coast from Santa Fe, seeing them in person happens much less often. Typically on the final day of their weekend course, I’m given the opportunity to share the Divine Name Essence with each of the participants in the class. After the workshop is over, I’m asked to stay and let people try additional essences, mists, and other products I offer. The Divine Name Essence is just one of the series of products I co-created with Jonathan Goldman, which infuses his Divine healing sounds into my sacred healing oils. We call it the Essence of Sound. Whether you use the oil while listening to the music, or on it’s own, they bathe the body and energy field in those exquisite vibrations and people really seem to love them. I know I do. Andi and Jonathan do as well. Many of those who love his music greatly enjoy the oils also. When I was in Yogaville at Jonathan and Andi’s workshop this spring, I met many of the people who live and work at the ashram. It was the first time I felt really connected with the community there. One of the wonderful ladies who has lived there since the early 80’s invited me to come back to stay for a weekend. We were collaborating to lead workshops and Goddess experiences together. So many wonderful things happened this time, I hardly know where to begin . . . When most people think of Yogaville, they instantly think of the LOTUS – Light of Truth Universal Shrine. What a gorgeous facility radiating such wonderful loving energy. People meditate there daily on the upper level. The lower level contains a collection of artifacts and sacred objects from many of the world’s religions. It is a place honoring all traditions. Yogaville - The Lotus Temple The image at the top of the article, of the hillside with two temples as you move up the hill, are what you see if you are standing in front of the LOTUS and look up the hill. The first night on my trip to Yogaville, my host took me to the top of that hill (in the top photo) to watch the sunset. Others showed up who were doing the same. We ended up joyfully telling many stories and laughing until long after the sun had set. Looking down on the Ashram from that vantage point was so lovely. I met with many people, did a private energy healing session for one of the ladies who lives there, and shared Dancing Dolphin Sacred Healing Oils & Mists, pendulums, and bracelets, with many. At lunch one day, my host suggested that I show my pendulums to a particular swami. I was so surprised that this deLightful woman that I’ve seen there many times is quite an accomplished dowser and absolutely loved the various pendulums I had with me and especially the one I gave her. Who knew swamis were into dowsing? I certainly didn’t. Much like here, there were deer everywhere. My host took me to see a statue at the farm – where they grow organically many vegetables and flowers. Just as we were leaving, the guy in charge drove in. He had just returned from selling produce at the vegetable stand. After our introductions, I asked him about the stand and the vegetables they had for sale. He went on to tell me all about it and then offered to walk around with me to pick fresh vegetables to take home. Beautiful, and very scrumptious, squash, peppers of all colors, some very unusual and yummy tomatoes, and many other veggies began filling the two huge bags I got to come home with. It was amazing the amount of vegetables I got for the money I spent. For dinner on Saturday, instead of eating as we usually do in the dining hall of the ashram, we drove 10 miles to a lovely little town and enjoyed a wonderful Italian meal at a restaurant owned by a former student of my friend and host for the weekend. Every Saturday night there is a sacred gathering. There is typically a short video clip of Swami Satchidenanda speaking followed by talk or music by one of the presenters holding a workshop there at the time. David Newman (Durga Das) was there that weekend. So Saturday night’s gathering involved his music and much dancing. The evening always concludes with participants being offered food that has been blessed. It was the weekend before Spring Equinox, so on Sunday afternoon one of the wonderful women from Yogaville facilitated a Peruvian Despacho. It was held on top of the hill overlooking the LOTUS. A large group of us gathered and shared in the beautiful ceremony honoring the harvest and blessing the earth. I had planned to return home on Sunday evening. But one of the women I’d connected with at a meal was teaching all weekend and wasn’t available until Monday. I stayed the extra day so she and I could get together for tea. Tea turned into lunch and could easily have turned into dinner. We had so many things in common, from interests to philosophy. It was a powerful connection and we are planning a collaboration for the future. The thing I am constantly reminded of is that fewer magical things happen if you never go any where and do any thing that is outside the normal for your life and your routine. When you live fully in the present moment, always open and anticipating wonderful things to happen, they usually do. Have a glorious day and enjoy your adventures at Yogaville or somewhere else! Free Guided Meditation for Dolphins, Whales, and Water

Fall Equinox, Free Guided Dolphin Meditations, and the Turning of the Wheel!

Golden Water Dolphin Equinox Meditation

Wednesday, September 23rd, 8 p.m. Wherever you Are

Fall is the time we harvest the fruits of our labor. It is the height of receiving and manifesting of those projects that we’ve planted and cared for within our lives. I am certainly harvesting a bountiful amount of things because of seeds I planted and connections I’ve made over the years. The more clear you become and the more in tune you are with your inner knowing, the more the seeds you’ve planted pay off. There are many factors involved of course. Divine timing will always direct what happens and when – no matter how hard you work towards something. If it is not in your highest (soul’s) interest to bring it forth at the time you desire, then no amount of effort will force it to happen. Or if it does happen, the result will not be what you were hoping for.Another factor is how healed and whole you have become in not just this tangible, physical experience, but in all realities, lifetimes, and dimensions. Many of my products and programs are designed to assist you in doing that.Fall (Spring) Equinox is a time of perfect balance – day and night are equal. It is the halfway point between Summer and Winter Solstice – the extremes of night and daylight available. With balance comes a still place within. We begin to turn inward, to reflect. For me, it is always a time I feel a great deal of gratitude. I feel extremely grateful for having been “called” by the dolphins to share their loving, healing, nurturing, empowering, enlightening energies and information with the world. I am deeply blessed by my connection with dolphins, orcas, whales, and the ocean. Every Spring and Fall Equinox, with the Golden Water Dolphin Meditation for Planetary Healing, I assist others in developing their own connection with dolphins and whales, or deepening the one they already have.

Noble C's by Takara

Miracles Can Happen When You Are Calm, Clear, Confident, and Connected!

Noble C's by Takara I talk about the Noble C’s a lot. In fact it is I who decided these words all starting with C were noble. They are the words I use to describe the state of being in which everything is in flow, in harmony, and everything you do comes from a place of inner balance, heart-centeredness and love.. It is in that space that every miracle in my life has occurred. It is in that space that intuition is enhanced and your ability to notice it is heightened. When you follow those nudges from the Still Small Voice within, truly amazing things can happen in your life. I always smile when I suddenly realize that something seemingly miraculous just happened which is in direct alignment with the things I desire and that it occurred because I followed my inner wisdom. There have been a whole host of those events lately. Whenever these things happen, it lets me know I’m aligned with the Divine and those Noble C’s are fully functioning at the moment. Three things come to mind immediately when I consider the latest smile-inducing events. The first began a year or so ago when I was being interviewed on a radio broadcast. Practically every radio interview opportunity I’ve received happened because I followed my intuition and showed up somewhere on line at precisely the right moment to seize an opportunity. That has become quite commonplace in my life. I’m not saying that to brag. I’m saying I’ve done the work, even though the work is never completely done, and I’m reaping the benefits of having made true personal and spiritual growth a priority.  On with this story … As is the case with many of my interviews, it went well and the interviewer and I developed a bond. Krystalya and I talked privately for quite awhile when the interview was over. We discovered we had an enormous amount of things in common from developing our own energy healing tools to being techno-geeks with business and engineering backgrounds. We decided we should stay in touch. We didn’t. Life happens and you move on and forget the things that have come before. This is particularly true of creatives because we live so fully in the moment and in whatever creation we are developing. Then suddenly, she crossed my mind and I felt the inner nudge to contact her. We scheduled a phone appointment for 2 p.m. We were engrossed in another extraordinary conversation talking about numerous topics when suddenly my phone battery began to die. When I looked at the time, I was shocked. I said, “This can’t be the time can it?” She was as shocked as I was. It was 5:30. I had to be at a dinner meeting in 45 minutes and the drive would take me 30 minutes of that. So we had to hang up immediately. Ah … it had been a wonderful connection, the kind that feeds your soul and makes you smile knowing you have yet another soul sister out there in the Universe. Somewhere in the conversation we talked about her healing symbols and my elixirs. I had just started working on the creation of a protection grid and she mentioned a symbol she had “received” for protection. We decided to put them together in a package. And … just like the Essence of Sound collaboration I have with Jonathan Goldman, where I’ve infused his music into essence form to take all the energy much deeper into the body and out into the energy field, I’ll be infusing several of her symbols into essence form. If I had called her earlier, I would not yet have the protective grid going and we might not have even considered a collaboration. It’s all in the timing and it’s all about intuition knowing precisely when the timing is right. Event number two started when I visited Yogaville in the spring. I so rarely get to see my dear friends, Jonathan and Andi Goldman. They are on the road a lot and live in Colorado. I’m now living on the East Coast. So it is wonderful when they come to teach at Yogaville in Virginia because I get to see them for an entire weekend. This year on the last day of the workshop, I was sitting in the dining hall at breakfast having a conversation with a woman who lives at Yogaville. The conversation turned to dolphins. Everyone always wants to know how I got involved with them. My typical response is that they showed up spontaneously when I learned to meditate – which is true. But when responding to this woman’s inquiry, my inner knowing was to mention the medicine wheel and the book I was using to create it. I asked her if she had ever heard of Sun Bear and Wabun Wind. She just looked at me and smiled saying she had studied with Sun Bear. Of course! Of course the Universe would have me say something about which she is deeply connected. She invited me to come to see her medicine wheel. So after lunch, when the program was over, she and I went to her lovely home and walked the wheel. Later on, Jonathan and Andi also came for a visit and several of us sang songs while playing a big ceremonial drum. It made for a glorious afternoon. She had invited me back for a visit, but I had not felt prompted to contact her again until very recently. Once again, I had an inner knowing that I should call. We had a lovely conversation and the next thing I know, I am being invited there to co-facilitate a Goddess weekend – something I’ve been wanting to do for ages. We are planning it for Equinox, which is coming up soon. The final event happened at a recent Not Back to School Picnic for homeschoolers. It’s an annual event that I mostly attend to see the moms I’ve developed friendships with over the years of homeschooling in Virginia. My son and his best friend are older than the other kids. They would be happy just to hang out together without all the others, but agreed to come because I wanted to see my friends. While there, I saw a friend of mine I haven’t seen in ages. She had lived in Colorado and was now living in the Blue Ridge Mountains in an area I consider to be the most beautiful in Virginia. She and I have gone hiking together and enjoy sharing stories about our spiritual adventures. Somehow in the conversation she mentioned that she would love to have gatherings at her home because she had so much space. I’ve never been to her home, so I said, “You have space?” What a delightful surprise that was. I’ve wanted to do workshops in or around the town where she lives for almost 20 years. I’ve not actually pursued the idea because I rarely spend time there and didn’t know of any facilities or people to contact. We are talking about a gathering. If I hadn’t followed my intuition to go to the picnic, the conversation might never have happened. Many people are under the false impression that all you have to do is get clear about what you want, do some visualizing, writing, or verbalizing of those desires, and they suddenly manifest. That is only true if you are calm, clear, confident, and connected … AND take action on the inner promptings you receive. It takes a fair amount of work to get into that space. You have to constantly “skim the lake” as my beloved teacher Stuart Wilde used to say – being ever vigilant of your energy and your mental focus. You have to be quite a spiritual warrior from that perspective. In the Foundation Course I teach you how. I created the Magnificent U Foundation Course for those who are truly dedicated to living in flow and in Divine alignment and want to step into that state of Grace that the Noble C’s provide. I’ve compressed some of the most important things it took me twenty years to figure out and begin to practice into a six-month deep-dive intensive. Have a glorious day, Bestselling author Debbie Takara Shelor signature
In Pursuit of the Spiritual

In Pursuit of the Spiritual – Why We All Have to Become a Spiritual Warrior

In Pursuit of the Spiritual I decided to watch the Ironman event televised from Hawaii. Thanks to a former boyfriend, I know a great deal about professional cycling and events like the Tour de France. I had never watched the Ironman before, but it definitely brought back memories. What is it about these events that hold so much appeal for me? They are noble. And they are very much like the pursuit of a spiritual quest. The men and women who participate in these events are absolutely the epitome of physical strength and endurance. They are dedicated. What was it the announcer said about why they participate? “They come to find out what they are made of. It takes passion, courage, and determination. And he is right. They are warrior athletes. Their life is dedicated to the perfection of their body and their skill. And in the race, it often comes down to what’s in their mind. Mental strength wins every time. Have you ever watched the Tour de France? Hour after hour, day after day, they ride. It doesn’t matter what the weather is. It doesn’t matter what the other racers are doing. They each have to do it on their own. Sure they have support from people in a van with food, water, spare tires and encouragement. But no one is out there riding for them. They see the ridiculously challenging mountain ahead of them and they have a choice. Do they continue with “their journey,” riding their best, trusting that they have what it takes to finish, or do they quit? If they continue, do they do it at less than their best, letting the physical pain and exhaustion overshadow their desire to succeed? Or do they ignore what’s happening in their body, in their surroundings, and stay in a centered place looking always at the goal and going after it with everything they’ve got? Those are questions I will also ask of you?

What is a spiritual journey about anyway?

There are a million different spiritual paths and spiritual journeys to take in order to get there.

Where is a Spiritual Journey leading to?

Each path is leading to freedom and joy. What kind of freedom? The freedom to be who you truly are – a Divine being without limitations of any kind. A person walking around completely in union in every moment with Spirit. In that space there is only love, there is only joy, there is only compassion, there is only perfect health, there is only peace, there is only abundance, and there is only the desire to assist other humans in achieving the same. There is no room for lack, for fear, for worry, for war, or for strife. If that is the end result you are attempting to attain, then . . .

What is required to get there?

Can you just sit at home, read a few books, take a few seminars, pray, hold a few crystals and experience instant enlightenment? The answer is a very big NO! It requires dedication. It means finding out what you are made of. It takes passion, courage, and determination. It is a quest well worth the effort. But, just like the Ironman or the Tour de France, few athletes ever even get to participate in those events. Most people don’t have what it takes.

How dedicated are you to your spiritual quest?

What have you done that proves you are totally dedicated? For me, the greatest metaphor for the spiritual journey is the quest for the holy grail which includes knights slaying dragons and facing numerous other perils. When the going gets tough, the best still persist.

How many dragons have you slain lately?

During the course of my conscious spiritual journey, I’ve done what I consider to be some pretty amazing and scary things. For two and a half years, without exception, I arose at 4 a.m. and meditated, did yoga, and prepared for my day. I felt inner prompting to do things and go places that felt very uncomfortable. Yet I followed the inner promptings and was exhilarated by each one. I rode horses bareback and blindfolded. I walked on fire. I ran at top speed blindfolded down a hill that ended at a huge cliff that dropped into the raging ocean below. I left a perfectly good job with very high pay to travel across the country to live in a place I’d never visited before and to start a nonprofit for dolphins and whales. And if that isn’t enough insanity, after seeing a guy only 4 times I asked him to move in with me. I didn’t even know his last name. Yes it was Raven – my former husband. O.K. so I’m daring. I follow my intuition. And I’ve done some physical things that prove I’ve got some spiritual dedication. But what about the REALLY hard stuff? The things I’ve already mentioned are actually quite easy compared to facing the real dragons.

What Are The Real Dragons You Must Face?

What about looking at every facet of yourself and seeing the truth. What do you fear deep down inside? What beliefs do you hold, false beliefs, which are holding you back at every turn? Who and what do you judge as wrong or bad or it shouldn’t be that way? What happened in your childhood, or even a past life, that you haven’t REALLY gotten over? You can’t just face these dragons. You have to slay them. This is where you get to discover if you are truly dedicated to the spiritual quest and will actually achieve freedom and joy. Or are you just another weekend athlete with a dream you’ll never actually pursue? People often call to ask me questions about my various products. When we start discussing Dancing Dolphin Formula #28 for Fear and Core Issues, I explain that these essences help those dragons come fully to the surface. At this point the person usually laughs, you can sense their tension, and they say they aren’t sure they want to look at those things. Ah, but isn’t that the real challenge of the quest?

What the Spiritual Journey Requires of You

Without looking at the shadow, the fear, the thing you are sorry and ashamed that you did or said, you are only pretending to be spiritual. The spiritual journey requires that you face those things head on, that you discover your weaknesses, that you heal the wounds, that you forgive even what or whom may seem unforgiveable – including yourself. It requires that you take responsibility for the part you have played in every thing and event that has ever happened in your life. It requires that you learn to rise above circumstances and even your own weaknesses to do what you know is right – even when that is downright and sometimes paralyzingly uncomfortable. It requires a great deal of maturity, responsibility, compassion, and over and over again forgiveness. As long as there are dragons, they have to be slain (looked at, learned from, and dismissed forever). Otherwise the end result can never be attained.

Are You Truly a Spiritual Warrior or Are You Just Pretending?

Who have you refused to forgive? In which event from your past do you still feel like you were a victim? What issues, situations, or people can instantly press your sadness or anger buttons? If you give up when having to face those situations, then you are just pretending that you are dedicated to your spiritual journey. You are simply being an armchair observer instead of a full out warrior participant. The dragons show up as the things that aren’t working in your everyday life. Make the commitment to yourself and to Spirit to face them head on. Ask for help – it is there in every moment. And never ever ever give up. Golden Water Dolphin Equinox Meditation for Planetary Healing with D. Takara Shelor

Hello Dear Ones: Those who have read my books will already know this story. But for those who have not,  this is a quick summary. More than twenty years ago I “woke up” spiritually and began learning and teaching about personal and spiritual growth, energy healing, metaphysics, Divine truth, and more. It all began with … Dolphins! I had hit the wall emotionally, literally cracked under the intense level of work stress I was under as a front line supervisor and engineer in a major pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. I had 40 employees that reported to me directly and every decision I made … Read more

Stuart Wilde ~ a Tribute to My First Teacher and Life-Long Metaphysical Mentor

The impact one person can have on a life is mind-boggling. At a time when I was in the pit of despair, I felt “inspired” to visit a New Age bookstore for the first time. How I found the courage to do that is a miracle in itself. I read the title of every book on every shelf in the entire store. I discovered whole sections of information I never knew existed. But nothing seemed to jump out and grab me with the desire to take it home.

I was literally down on my knees with my face almost touching the floor trying to read the books on the bottom shelf in this one area of the store and I came across the book, Affirmations, by Stuart Wilde. Now what you have to realize is that I grew up with a Southern Baptist mom. I’d never ever studied anything even remotely alternative, and here I was bowing down on my knees basically begging for answers and Stuart Wilde entered my life.

Once I’d read Affirmations, I came back for all the rest. I read every book he had out at the time. Then listened to every audio I could get my hands on. I can’t tell you how many times I listened to the crystal cave meditations in 33 Steps Beyond the Earth Plane. Like Stuart, I am able to go into a theta brain-wave state with my eyes open. I call it “clicking into theta.”

I found out from a friend that Stuart was going to be giving a talk in Princeton. I was living in Pennsylvania at the time and decided to make the drive to see him live. After the lecture, I discovered information on a table somewhere about his 8-day Warriors in the Mist training. It was a no-brainer to sign up to attend.

That’s me on the bottom left here with my Arban at Warriors in the Mist in the beautiful Sangre de Christo Mountains of New Mexico.

Stuart Wilde Serving Food at the Final Feast for Warriors in the Mist

As you would expect, it was an awesome experience full of wisdom, insight, mystery, lots of fun, and a fair bit of mayhem – just enough to take you out of your comfort zone in a way that only Stuart could pull off with as much flair. I made a few life-long friends there.

Me on our first day of horseback riding at Warriors in the Mist

Khris Krepcik, the hooded sage, whom Stuart became very close to, was in my Arban (the group we were divided into for the training). I believe it was the first time they ever met.

Again I’m on the left … hmm I wonder if that means something? LOL (Of course from my perspective facing the camera), I would have been on the right.

Our Arban won the overall competition despite the fact that we were all leaders and there seemed to be no followers. We had a very hard time agreeing on a course of action as we went through the various spiritual warrior training exercises throughout the week. We were able, finally, to work as a team during the competition and when it really mattered, we won.

I met a woman there doing what I considered to be a noble project – trying to assist an orca in captivity to return to her wild pod in the San Juan Islands. Soon after the training, I left my life as a corporate engineer and moved to the San Juans to co-found a non-profit with her for dolphins and whales.

I lived first on an island, then on a sacred mountain, after that in the high desert of Santa Fe, New Mexico (a place I fell in love with during Warriors in the Mist). I even lived on a million dollar yacht in the South Pacific for a while. In each of these locations, I spent hours communing with nature and meditating often.

I went from Stuart’s theta meditation and metaphysical teachings on to many more. Once I left the environment of the corporation, I began to delve very deeply into metaphysics, spirituality, inner peace, energetic and emotional healing, Divine connection, flowing with the Universe, receiving Divine insights and wisdom directly.

My life has been a glorious adventure and I’m now a bestselling author myself.

Now teaching my own students about advanced energy healing techniques, metaphysics, spirituality, personal empowerment, etc., I often share stories about Stuart and talk about things he taught me, as well as his version of modern-day Toaism. I come back to it again and again in my own personal evolution.

Stuart showed up at precisely the right time and when I jumped off the cliff with his help, I learned to fly.

I believe the image on the cover of his book, The Quickening, is based on this quote: “Come to the edge.’ ‘We can’t. We’re afraid.’ ‘Come to the edge.’ ‘We can’t. We will fall!’ ‘Come to the edge.’ And they came. And he pushed them. And they flew.” ~ Christopher Logue

I think of him often. It always makes me smile.

Much love to you Dear One wherever you are for all that you are and all that brought to my life.

Have a deLightful day,

Takara

P.S. If you knew Stuart Wilde, or just appreciated his wisdom, humor, and metaphysical finesse, leave a comment below letting us know how he impacted your life! And if you were in my Arban and in one of the photos above, PLEASE send me a message. I would love to reconnect with those I haven’t been able to keep up with over the years.

Aromatherapy, Essential Oils, Reputable Suppliers, and the Dancing Dolphin Difference for Energy Healing

aromatherapySm

There was a debate going on recently on Facebook about whether a person wanting quality essential oils (EO’s) for aromatherapy should choose Young Living or DoTerra. I jumped into the mix and said, “Neither.”

Dancing Dolphin Oils & Mists Are Available Here

Actually, this is what I said:

“I vote neither. I’m sure there are people here who won’t like that answer. Sorry about that.

I was formally trained in the medicinal use of essential oils by world renowned aromatherapy expert, Dr Jane Buckle. I got involved briefly with Young Living many years ago. I left because I discovered that you can get extraordinary oils from very reputable distillers through several excellent companies in the U.S. without the cost involved with network marketing.

I was also horrified that they were suggesting that people use oils “neat” (undiluted) on the skin and even internally. Essential oils are so concentrated that they all should be diluted before use and ingesting them is a HIGHLY dangerous practice that should only be recommended by professionals (doctors, etc.). Anyone using, and especially selling, essential oils should read about essential oil safety from the Tisserand Institute. They are on the forefront of EO safety and publish their findings often.

Both companies have good oil, but in some cases, the non-MLM oils are actually superior.

Some how these MLM companies have successfully convinced their people that the only way to get pure medicinal quality oils is to purchase them through their companies. That is not at all the case. They even made up a term to market them called “therapeutic grade.” That is not an actual designation used by essential oil professionals or suppliers.

Many reputable essential oil retailers can supply gas chronographs from the distillers for each batch to prove purity and effectiveness. Anyone interested in excellent oil knows they need to be distilled under low pressure and low temperature without chemicals. There are TONS of oils available like that.

These MLM companies are getting much of their oil from distillers throughout the world the same as the other oil retailers are.

Each MLM has some good blends. But those same exact blends are available elsewhere online for much less. There are at least 8 different lavender varieties and the most beneficial typically comes from France ~ not grown in the U.S. I only use European Lavender and Rose Oil.

Europeans use essential oils in their hospitals instead of harsh cleaning chemicals in many cases. They look at everything from a medical perspective.

Before jumping on the MLM bandwagon, I suggest you determine why you want to work with oils. Is it to add an income stream or to use oils for your own healing purposes.”

Several people write to me privately thanking me for the insight and then asked what oils I use. Since lots of people were interested, I thought I would share a few of my suppliers here.

Some of the essential oil vendors I use online are:

Nature’s Gift – I love this place. Don’t let the old-looking website fool you. There is magic within those pages. I don’t purchase all my oil there, but I have them create the spice blend that I use for some of my products. Check out their sandalwood or frankincense and see what they say about each variety. Of course those two oils are quite expensive no matter where you get them. I just love the care and detail they share at Nature’s Gift. And Dr. Jane Buckle has used their oils in her training programs. If she is willing to use the oils, you can be quite confident that they are the best available. She is freaking picky about the quality of the oil she uses since she is training nurses and other health professionals to use them in clinics and hospitals. http://www.naturesgift.com/

Marge, the owner of Nature’s Gift, has written a book called Essential Oils and Aromatics. It is currently out of print. I’m kicking myself because I didn’t buy one when it first came out. However, it is available here on Kindle.

Essential Wholesale is another vendor I use for a few essential oils and carrier oils. http://www.essentialwholesale.com

Another favorite is Mountain Alternatives. I use their Sandalwood blend (intoxicatingly heavenly) .All over the web you can read about 4 Thieves tea and what the legend is about how there were thieves who looted the homes of people who had died from the plague. There was a bounty on their head – not because they were thieves, but because they weren’t dead. It turned out that they were spice merchants and would rub the spices all over their bodies before going in. Young Living’s Thieves blend is based on that same legend. I love Mountain Alternative’s Medieval Blend based on these same spices. I put some in a spray bottle with water and use it to keep the air fresh and keep germs at bay. I also sometimes mix it with a bit of carrier oil (like the organic coconut and red raspberry seed that I use in my Dancing Dolphin product line) and rub it on the bottom of my feet.  http://www.mountainalternatives.com/product-p/mou0240.htm.

If you really like the blends, but not the price: http://www.rockymountainoils.com/comparable-blends offers practically every blend that Young Living and DoTerra have at a price that is much more affordable.

There is nothing wrong with multi-level marketing products or companies. But when you can get the same quality products for less, then I choose to do so.

There are certain nutritional and cleaning products that I purchase through network marketing companies, but that is because those formulas are only available that way. I’m a distributor for a few different MLM companies and I’m quite passionate about how good the products are.

The Dancing Dolphin Difference:

Having shared all of that, its now time to say that essential oils alone offer great benefit, but Dancing Dolphin Alchemical Synergy Oils & Mists offer so much more!

What I create with Dancing Dolphin are not aromatherapy blends, they are synergistic alchemical masterpieces. O.K. that’s obviously an exaggeration, but not by as much as you might think.

“Takara is a true alchemist.” ~ Daniel Jacob, Voice of the Reconnections

I had been using essential oils and aromatherapy for a few years when I was introduced to flower essences. Wow were they a powerful new tool. I was living on a sacred mountain in Southern California pregnant with my son, Jess, and had an inner “knowing” that I needed to take a weekend training program in Santa Barbara to learn more about flower essences.

While at the workshop, we had the opportunity to make a flower essence ourselves. David Jonas, a gifted energy healer who became a life-long friend after our meeting at this event, was asked to hold the bowl while the rest of us each picked a bloom from the plant who’s flower essence we were making that day.

We were asked to “tune in” to the plant and ask which bloom wanted to be chosen for this purpose. When I opened my eyes after making this request, I literally could see one of the flower blooms glowing. I was the last person in the group to cut one of the blooms. I kept looking at the glowing bloom and I couldn’t believe none of the other people had cut that one when it was so freaking obvious that it was “the bloom.”

When it was finally my turn, I cut the bloom, it dropped into the bowl, and David says he felt the energy literally shoot out in all directions the instant the bloom hit the water. He had traveled all over the globe and made many flower essences. He had never seen or experienced anything like that ever before. Obviously, I got very excited about making flower essences when he shared with me his experience.

Suddenly not only did I work with aromatherapy, but now I apparently had a knack for flower essences.

“I love the Violet Flame Mist.” ~ Patricia Diane Cota-Robles, Co-Founder of New Age Study of Humanity’s Purpose

On the way home from the workshop, I received insight about how to upgrade the flower essences to be even more vibrationally potent than they already are. (Receiving an immediate upgrade to something is not that unusual for me. When I first learned to meditate, dolphins spontaneously began to show up and brought with them an outrageous amount of healing energy. When I learned Reiki, on the way home I received lots of new ways to use and enhance it.)

Flower and gem essences offer a significantly broader and higher vibrational spectrum than essential oils. According to Dr. Richard Gerber, M.D. as compared to EVERY other form of vibrational medicine, “… flower essences may strongly influence all levels of the multidimensional human system, from the physical/biomolecular levels on up to the higher subtle and soul levels.”

Flower essences are a very powerful form of assistance. Now I was being asked to take them even higher. The new upgrade system I was given involved sound and a whole lot more.

“Takara’s Essences are Outstanding!” ~ Jonathan Goldman, world renowned Sound Healing Pioneer

I am a “keeper” and transmitter of energies – from earth energies to magnificent healing frequencies, cosmic energies, and beyond.

I create alchemical blends with the hundreds of flower essences, gem essences, and other vibrational essences that I have made over the years. As I hold each bottle, I channel into it the dolphin healing frequencies that literally changed my life, as well as any other frequencies needed. It then undergoes the upgrade process I’ve developed. Finally, essential oils add their unique healing properties and frequencies to the synergy. They then sit on “the grid” created with hundreds of crystals, gems, feathers, etc. overnight and in some cases for many days.

They are truly powerful and completely unique in the healing support they offer.

If you aren’t sure where to start, I always recommend a custom blend.

  1. This is Pat Moon. I cannot log into anything other than anonymous. At first I was upset with your words about MLM companies. However later you qualified that there are companies who provide quality products not available any where else in the market place. That is exactly the reason I have stuck with the MLM company I am with for nutritional supplements, skin care and home cleaning. I did join Young Living for a short time but soon realized their nutritional products were not up to my standard. Now it seems that DoTerra is all the rage. I am sticking with my MLM company I’ve been with for over 29 years. (We do not have essential oils except for the ones in food sources as supplements.) Thanks for providing your explanation and alternative sources for essential oils.

  2. Hi Pat: There are DEFINITELY some great MLM / Networking marketing companies out there. I just feel that that business structure works best, and is best utilized, when they offer completely unique products to the marketplace. I’ve been around essential oils for almost 20 years and I did do a short stint with Young Living as well. But, like you, I found that their nutritional and body care products were not up to my standards either. I was pretty disappointing with both lines. And then I discovered superior oils from other suppliers. As a flower essence creator, I’ve found that a rose is not a rose is not a rose. I made an essences from morning glories growing wild in three different locations – the high desert in New Mexico, a sacred mountain in southern California and the Canadian side of Lake Ontario. The vibration of those plants was so different because of where they were grown, the primary purpose of them actually changed. The same is definitely true of many essential oils. Lavender, one of YL’s flagship oils, is just not that great grown in the U.S. The organic lavender grown in France or Bulgaria is extraordinary and once you’ve smelled it and worked with it, nothing else will do. And, even more amazing, you can get the same amount of organic lavender (lavendula angustifolia) from Bulgaria for less than half what it costs retail with YL. That’s just crazy. Essential oils are only a small part of what makes a Dancing Dolphin Essence a Dancing Dolphin Essence. Thanks for stopping by Pat.

You Can Be Magnificent

TakaraHatShine You are on a hero’s journey. Your life is your quest. The events that make up your daily life experience are the hurdles and obstacles you have to climb, conquer, and find a way to overcome to reach your desired destination. No hero starts out that way. They begin as some ordinary, unassuming person from a village somewhere. Then something horrible happens. There is a big issue or situation that has been suddenly thrust upon them. So the hero in the making sets off into “zones unknown” as Dean Black puts it. He/she has to decide the quest is worth it, often facing a fairly high level of fear and trepidation along the way. They have to leave the comfort and security of what they know and understand and head out to see and experience people and situations that they never even knew existed when they were back in the village. The hero has to do things they never thought they could. They have to reach deep down inside themselves and find the strength and courage to deal with whatever comes their way.  It’s not for the faint of heart. And yet, you are already on such a quest even if you don’t realize that you are. If you are unhealthy, unhappy, or unsuccessful, then those are the obstacles on your path right now. Most things like that don’t just jump up and surprise you. They were a long time in the making. In fact, it might have been several generations in the making. Nothing of any consequence is achieved overnight. It takes considerable time and effort and it often requires help. If you are one of those people who thinks you can do it all on your own, then listen up:  If you had the tools, confidence, and knowledge necessary to fix the problem on your own, you would have done so already! Would you not? You can be healthy. You can be happy. You can be successful – however you define success. The only thing you have to change is the one thing that you truly can . . . and that is you! Sin is wrong thinking. Thinking that sickness, poverty, disappointment, and struggle are “normal” or inevitable is wrong thinking. There is an idea that says you are the sum total of the 5 people you hang out with the most. Think about it. Who are they? What is their life like? What do they think about? How kind are they? What do they feel is important? What do they judge? What do their income level, education, and dreams about the future look like? And is that what you want for yourself? You don’t have to replace all your friends to shift this. You can begin the process by feeding your mind new information through books, articles, audios, videos, and workshops. Make nature one of your friends. Spend time each day in quiet contemplation, in silence, in meditation. Journal your thoughts, your insights, the new things you are learning. If you want to change, then you have to step out of the comfort zone of the people you hang out with and do something different. I prefer the radical approach. I liken it to jumping into the deep end of the pool without first sticking your toe in to see how cold the water is. You move across the country or even the world. You marry a foreigner. You leave the corporate world and strike out on your own. That’s my way. Why? Because the idea of being anything less than my full potential is just not O.K. with me. Most people can’t handle the insecurity of such a radical lifestyle. I happen to thrive on it. It proves to me that if I can do those things, then there is no reason I can’t also achieve all of my dreams. If I can muster up the courage to start my own business, then becoming a bestselling author is also within reach. If I can jump on a plane to live aboard a million dollar yacht in Fiji, then manifesting a more luxurious lifestyle has to also be possible for me. When I made the bestseller list, it was both exciting and surprising. Surprising because this is not the book that I thought would be the “big one.” I was convinced that the big one was one of the books in the 5-book New Dance series that I’m currently penning. So, I wasn’t attached to this book being a bestseller. And that is probably why it became one. I was not all wrapped up emotionally in its success. Even though it was a bit exciting, it was also fairly anticlimactic. O.K. I now have the title. What now? Even though I wasn’t emotionally attached to the outcome, I knew I had to do whatever I felt Divinely guided to do in order to get it out there. What it required of me was definitely outside of my comfort zone. I had to muster up the courage to do things I was uncomfortable with. But that’s what it took to achieve the thing. So that’s what I did. It was definitely not easy. And most people would never be willing to get that uncomfortable to achieve their dreams. That’s why most people never achieve them. Often the Universe forces you to be the hero of your own life. You lose your job, you get cancer, your spouse cheats. You know . . . the typical disasters that make you sit up and take notice . . . and finally agree that your life needs to change and it is you that must change it. Everything I offer is designed to help you along your spiritual journey, your personal quest for the Magnificence of self:
  • Meditation keeps you sane, balanced, and able to hear the still small voice of Divine wisdom,
  • Dowsing helps you fine tune your intuition and send a neon sign to the Universe saying you want answers and Divine assistance,
  • Private Long Distance Energy Sessions help to clear out the energies you have not been successful at clearing and to activate and “turn on” the various codes lying latent within you,
  • Dancing Dolphin Energy Healing Products and Healing Technologies lift you up significantly in vibration and offer every possible type of support you could need anywhere along your way – from something to just help you calm down to things that act like dynamite clearing out and releasing you from the past,
  • The various books offer insights and wisdom to help you understand more about yourself, the spiritual journey, how life really works, and the quest you are on,
  • The new workshop series will offer an opportunity for you to learn the best ways to work with the Dancing Dolphin products and the techniques for yourself or with clients and groups. If you have a center or a group and would like to host a workshop, please let me know: takara@magnificentu.com.
Much love to you Dear One. What you make of your life is up to you. I send you blessings and Light for a prosperous, healthy, and magnificent new life.   Return to the Magnificent U Home Page

  1. Very well written Takara – a gift with words! You’ve mentioned so many important points, but the 2 that really stand out for me are: Feeding your mind new information, and anything less than full potential is just not O.K. I believe we need to embrace these fully to be able to move forward in our journey. Also, as long as we are self aware and act, we’ll be able to recognize our own journey successfully. Have an amazing 2013.

  2. Hi Gary:

Thanks for stopping by. I agree with you. Those are definitely very important points. Sending you blessings for a fabulous 2013, Takara
  3. What a fantastic post! The good news was when you said: “The only thing you have to change is the one thing that you truly can . . . and that is you!”

  4. Hi Susan: I spend most of my time helping people with that piece. So often people look outside themselves, judging and condemning other people, organizations, or situations. That typically is a pointless waste of time and energy. When a person can change themselves, their whole life miraculously shifts and the outer begins to reflect the inner. Everything works much more smoothly. Fun!

  5. Wishing you a wonderful 2013, as well! Great post! It’s amazing what can happen when we dig deep and move out of our comfort zone. : D

  6. Hi Sherie: Thanks for sharing. It is fabulous what can happen outside the comfort zone. I wish it was easier for everyone to see how dramatically things can change when they learn to “trust” that the Universe has their best interest in mind.

  7. Such a beautiful article, Takara. Liked this: “The only thing you have to change is the one thing that you truly can . . . and that is you!” It sounds so simple and powerful! Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year!

  8. Hi: Thanks for visiting and commenting. It is extremely powerful and fairly simple. Sadly, most people are terrified of looking at the limiting beliefs, fears, judgments, and expectations that are holding them back. And even worse, most people don’t have the tools necessary to “fix” an issue even if they are willing to look at it. Thank heavens I, and many others, have developed and discovered tools that truly do help.

  9. Love starting off my year with all these motivating and inspiring posts. It really is a matter of deciding you can and then giving yourself the permission and the tools to achieve your own magnificence. Thanks, Debbie.

  10. Thanks for visiting Marie: Most people just need 1 other person to truly believe in their potential for them to begin believing they can achieve their dreams.

  11. Thanks for a wonderful post Takara. You brought up so many good points. I really appreciate your point that to create your best life you have to dig deep and find strength and courage to deal with whatever comes.

  12. Thanks for stopping by Jean. I love that quote by Einstein about the definition of insanity “Doing the same things over and over and expecting a different result.” Yet most people refuse to do something new, step out of their comfort zone, learn from someone else, or try something different. It takes a significant amount of courage. But the more you do it, the more you see the fantastic results because you did so. It helps build the trust you need to take uncomfortable actions next time. I’m pretty freakin’ courageous. I’ve walked on fire. I’ve ridden horses bareback and blindfolded. I’ve run at top speed downhill toward a cliff dropping off into the raging ocean below while blindfolded. I’ve pushed past a lot of fears. I married a foreigner. I left the comfort and security of a high paying engineer’s job to move to an island and start a non-profit for dolphins and whales.

  13. “Because the idea of being anything less than my full potential is just not O.K. with me”.

    This is an awesome statement!
  14. Hi and thanks for visiting. It reminds me of my favorite quote: “Life is either a daring adventure . . . or it is nothing.” ~ Helen Keller.

  15. Powerful article. I agree with Gary, feeding your mind new information, and anything less than full potential is just not O.K. And it is a process, this journey we travel on. Learning more day to day and implementing more. Getting it bit by bit and living the way our Creator originally intended for us to live. Thanks!

  16. Thanks Norma. I love the personal journey toward what I call magnificence. I also LOVE helping others as they learn to navigate theirs. Fun!

  17. Excellent article with a powerful message, our life can and will be what we choose it to be! We have all we need within, all we have to do is believe in ourselves and ACT!

  18. Thanks for stopping by Denny. And once we start the action it is so much easier. The act of getting started, taking that breath and daring to do whatever, seems to be the hardest part. Once you are doing the thing, you realize how easy it is and how silly it was to resist it in the first place.

  19. Acheiving dreams is definitely not a matter of comfort! But it is so worth it as we attain another nugget of our dream! 🙂 Step out and make it happen!

  20. Absolutely! Thanks for stopping by Carl.

  21. So many wonderful mentions in your post; I loved it! The part about you are the sum total of the 5 people you hang out the most was told to me in a similar way in the past by a friend of mine. She said to try not to be around negative people since that can bring you down. However, if they are people that you really do want to keep in your circle of friends or they are close family members and they are negative, then, as you pointed out too, you don’t have to replace them but find other outlets to learn and not be around that negativity so much.

  22. Hi Allison. Thanks for your comments. Monitoring the amount of negativity you let in is not always easy. It is definitely worth it though. Have a great day, Takara

  23. So many points that resonate in here with me, thank you. This one struck a special chord ~ “Often the Universe forces you to be the hero of your own life.” I find that to be so true. You can either take these experiences that come your way and allow them to break you or make you. For those of us who choose to be the heros, they are the most extraordinary and strengthening experiences of a lifetime. Thanks for a great article. I also will never settle for less than my full potential!

  24. Hi Jennifer – thanks for stopping by. Seeing the lesson or silver lining in a tough situation is a skill well worth developing. Many blessings to your continued success, Takara

  25. Wonderful article. Great things can happen when you step out of your comfort zone… so I’ve heard, LOL. It’s not something that comes easy for me! I prefer to dip a toe in, think about it and see how it goes, rather than jump right in (or out?), but I know I should really jump! I don’t know why the comfort zone is so comfortable–it’s often boring and/or unhappy.

  26. Debbie…thanks for the great post, we think alike! I agree that you are who you hang around and that is the first step in evaluating where you are and where you want to be.

Happiness is a choice, because we all will get hit with uncomfortable circumstances in life…it’s what we do with them that matters!
  27. Very inspiring post here Takara! You are absolutely right about stepping out of my comfort zone to achieve my dreams and goals. “You are on a hero’s journey. Your life is your quest.” I love the way you point this out.

Energy Vampires and the Stench of Pretend Spiritual Guru’s

Pretend Spiritual Gurus and Energy Vampires Latest Revision: 12/19/15 Just because someone is considered a spiritual guru, shaman, or medicine man (woman), does not make them automatically someone to be trusted or sought out for healing and advice. Energy vampires and pretend spiritual gurus are much more common than most people think.

Money Pyramid Schemes

My friend, Ilona Selke, shared the following words on Facebook (shared here with permission):
“Money Pyramid Schemes … They have been traveling the alternative circles for decades…and I would like to post this as it puts the feelings a lot of people have at the bottom of such pyramid schemes. To blame the elders for not doing the research? Usually no one wants to listen… I have shared my views…but in then..whether it is about the ‘woman’s circle’ or even on not picking bad guys, lessons seem to have to be learned. Advice seems to work on those that almost have the wisdom already. But there is a good thing: “Lessons learned are like bridges burnt you only have to cross them but once.” (hopefully)”
She shared that along with an article by a woman that had been “taken in” by the Women’s Circle Pyramid Scheme. These are my thoughts on this topic … Read more
